Thinking about purchasing the small bags is not even worth it although it seems cheaper. Here are the differences when your paying by the dollar.
3,000 BB's of TSD:

300 bb's per dollar
$3.33 for 1000 bb's
9,000 BB's of TSD:
$33.50
269 (268.656) bb's per dollar

15,000 BB's of TSD:
$39.50

Overall you get more when you buy the 15,000 package. This should help.
