"Purchased a few weeks ago, played at OP: Red Alert at Sniperzden in St. Paul Oregon this last weekend. First time playing with it and I was not disappointed in the least. The Only problem I had was the hop up slide always moved, but after I found my sweet spot with .20 bio bbs, I just tightened the Philips screw to keep it from moving. This is where it really shines, I chronoed at 350 fps but it really has good range because of the long inner barrel. I purchased one 9.6 nimh battery from AMS, and a second from a local store, I played two days and close to 2500 rounds, and the first battery still had a good charge. The magazines look almost like the real steel counterpart, but since they are so small, you may want to take on the role of counter sniper and not assault or you will have to reload quite a bit. Many players really loved the look and feel and said it looked very intimidating since I have a real psop scope. The scope fits perfect.
Since the mags are so short, regular ak mag pouches are a real hassle, unless you stuff something in the bottoms or look around for short mag pouches.
The fake wood stock easily passes for real wood and most players thought this was the more expensive King Arms Vintorez.
FPS and range was very consistent and I am very pleased.
I have been playing for over 15 years and have been through alot of aegs, this has been one of my smartest purchases.
