"This gun is perfect for a gift for your child, considering they are old enough. Mine clocked in at 340 fps with .2g BB. Its got some weight, but isn't too heavy. Its also great s a loner gun, because once you are loaning a gun out, you will be at a point where you will want a higher quality gun. But if you're buying for yourself, its great for beginners. My stock started to wobble after about a year and now, 3 years later, I am needing to replace it because it is getting bad. I sawed off the front iron sights so that I could see through my scope better. The battery it came with was a six cell, 1200 MaH, which is too small for me. I upgraded immediately to a seven cell 2400 MaH. The charger was junk as well, so I got a smart charger and it worked perfect for it. I usually shoot .25g and I wish my gun shot with a little more range with those, but when I shoot my .15g (.15, not .12) I cant even see where it hits the ground. I've been long overdue for an upgrade in gun now that I've been into airsoft for so many years, and any complaint I have has only arose in the last year and a half, now that I've become more knowledgeable in Airsoft. I am looking for a new gun now, and the only changes I would want to make with the new one is for it to be wired to the stock so that I can have rails on the barrel. I would want a higher cap magazine, but that isn't a problem with the gun itself. I would want a sturdier build even though this gun is somewhat sturdy. I would want a longer gun for accuracy, range, and feel, and a higher powered rifle so I can achieve over 400 fps with .2g. This is the most critical review I can write, and anything that is swayed, is swayed negatively as M4s are actually my least favorite gun design. Therefore, anything good I say is a lot coming from me."
