"I thought this gun was going to be a great deal. It is full metai, shot fast, and came with a case. Unfortunately within a couple of cartridges, it was leaking CO2. This gun doesn't have a clip/magazine - instead you load the rounds into the opposite side of the grip as where CO2 is loaded. Unfortunately, other than trying a bit of grease and plumber's tape on the CO2 cartridges (neither worked), there was nothing to troubleshoot and I simply had to return the gun (which cost $15 to do).
If it hadn't leaked, I probably would have been happy with it. Definitely had a lot of power. Was able to accept mock silencers, and had a rail as well.
Other negatives were that the way the grip slide open was wonky. It was hard to get it to line up properly to close again. When open, the left side was where you loaded the CO2, and on the right was where you loaded the BBs. When loading BBs, you were supposed to be able to pull back a spring loaded tab to reveal the hole into which the BBs went. The tab was supposed to lock into place to keep it open, but it was very difficult to get it to stay in place. Made reloading very difficult and time consuming.
Also, the twist mechanism to pierce the CO2 cartridge was somewhat hard to use. You really had to turn it hard, and it was difficult to reverse when wanting to unload.
If not for the leaking, I could have lived with the negatives, but a really expected a durable gun. I guess for $40 for a full metal gun they had to skimp somewhere, and unfortunately that lead to failure in a part of the gun that wasn't serviceable.
Considering AMS doesn't cover return shipping for defective products, it made this a somewhat expensive mistake."
