"this is my first airsoft gun and i must say this thing is amazeing it looks and feels so tru to life, it shoots a nice 385fps avg with .25gram bbs with a 7.4 volt lipo 1300ma i was hiting a soda can from 100 feet at least 5 out of 10 times from 150 maybe 2 or 3 but very close still. what more can i say the blowback is really sweet and sounds nice too. if your looking for an ak you should buy this one from cyma. great job makeing an afordable top notch ak guys!"

" I've had this gun for a year now and it is still working like brand new. I take really good care of it(cleaning/maintenance) but there's not too much. I have only ever had one problem; the first day i bought it I wanted to see how fast on semi automatic mode i could fire it and i blew the fuse (don't do that). No worries i just bought a pack of like five fuses for three bucks and I haven't had any problems since. Now for the gun here are some pros and cons. Pros: -very realistic(real wood, metal all around,heavy) -shoots hard(made my friend bleed from 40 ft) -unbelievably accurate -very durable(dropped it several times, works great) -blowback is awesome & won't throw you off at all Cons: -Maybe too heavy for noobs -rear sling mount doesn't seem too strong Great gun all together. "This gun is very reliable and powerful. i've used it as my only primary for over 6 months now and I've done nothing but clean the barrel, and it still works like its brand new. "I got this gun December 9 and it is amazing in everything.... People think tht CYMA is a bad company but they arent. I was a little paranoid about it until i got it. I went to EIA (Erie Indoor Airsoft) which is in Erie, PA. It was amazing i owned i wasnt last pick for teams at all. I thought i had broke it 3 days ago but the batterry was just out of battery... If it makes an akward sound all of sudden try using a different battery or something it may help. i love this gun with a burning passion. You should find out. Get this gun of all ak's on the market"

"This is my first Real EAG. I say this because the first AEG I owned was a joke. All plastic and you could catch the BBs with your bare hand at point blank range. I wouldn't even dream of doing it with this gun! Airsoft Megastore was fantastic to order from, quick delivery and a great price too. As it has been said, the gun is well built although I did have to tighten the screws a slight bit, but that's not that bad. The gun fires well and is definitely accurate within 100 feet. My neighbor and I were shooting at plastic and glass bottles. At first the glass would make a pinking noise at wiggle a little with no damage. After a while it just fell to pieces. It turned out that the gun was pulverizing the inside while leaving the outside in-tacked. When we looked at the bottle there was a pile of glass dust left where the bottom was suppose to be. It's of fun and well worth the money. Can wait to use it in a game. "

"This is one really great gun, I am of russian origin, my father was in the millitary, and he confirms that hes never held an AK replica thats so close to the real thing. the exact weight of a real AK, and is just fun to hold! the blowback action works perfectly, i would have liked the charging handle to go farther back, to make it more realistic, instead it only goes back about half the way down the gun than it does in real life. but thats not a big deal. it fires amazingly! and hop up is insanely easy to adjust (so long as your not wearing thick gloves) relatively accurate and a great rate of fire, with a custom battery (i grabbed a 8.4, 1600) it gives it enough power to actually rattle the gun, giving the slightest kick. clip is sturdy, feeds just fine, except if your using ultrasonic BB's, those dont seem to feed in as easily (im guessing cause they're made out of wierd material, so get other bbs, not ultrasonics) i havent tested it in a game yet, but i will soon. "

You have to unscrew two screws to get it in and out. Also, yes there are sling mounts and everything is steardy on the gun.. The rate of fire is just as good as the Famas. (800-850). "to the guy below me. this gun uses small type battery. i bought a 9.6v 2000mah one. i think its 8 cell. you could also squeeze a nunchuck into the stock if you wanted to. and other YES the barrel is threaded. if you take the orange cap off its got a 14mm negative (counter clockwise) threading on it (thats standard for most AEG's) Ok so I've had this gun for a couple months now and let me tell you its amazing. the blowback is hardcore. it shot 396.5fps with .23 bb's. (JUST below the field limit hehe). put in a 9.6v and it shoots well over 1000rpm Pros HIGH fps decent accuracy good range blowback (could be a con it honestly does shake the gun a bit) realistic weight (could also be a con its a heavy gun for men to wield) full metal REAL wood high capicity 600 Cons No RIS the screw cap on the selector switch is plastic the front handguard is a BIT wobbly but not too bad. im guessing a real AK is like that Other than that great gun. "I don't have this gun but i have the sister to it the cm.036 which is the metal and plastic version. The 36 is amazing shoots so hard but the back of the stock always comes off and i lost mine, also the plastic and metal makes it top heavy. I recommend buying this one instead it the back wont fall off and in the long run its just a better buy and only a little more money. Buy this one or another real wood one. But in all cyma makes an AMAZING AK and i wouldn't buy any other. "

"The itself was great, it shot hard the wasn't the highest rpm but was still good. I used a lipo-poly battery and was impressed until it broke.Don't use a lipo-poly battery. I still bought a new one because of how awesome it was."

"This gun is very good overall. Pros: very realistic feel, shoots nicely (realistic with the EBB function), wood is nice, very heavy, durable, reliable sling mounts, comes with a decent mag, extremely accurate, included mag holds 600+ rounds, orange tip is not too obnoxious but enough to keep Mp's of your back (i'm on an army post), gun sounds very real because of it's full steel body Cons: front upper hand guard is a little bit loose, barrel scratches easily, EBB takes up a good amount of battery, the included battery has wires that are rubberized and coated with rope-like cloth that shreds easily (nothing a little electrical tape won't fix), not very much space in the stock (believe it or not) there is a foam insert inside the wooden stock that keeps the battery secure but takes up about a 1/4 inch of space I recommend buying some .25 gram GoldenBall BB's and a smart charger for your battery (the battery lasts through shooting about 4 mags of BB's, roughly 2,400 BB's!) this is a good AK-47 for outdoor play and the BB's hit hard. As you may already know, heavier BB's are efficient at cutting through dense cover in the woods. I have hit 3 people in one game with this gun and i was playing against a UTG Master Sniper and a WELL L6A1. You may not want to purchase this weapon if you play small games with friends as this gun will destroy your competition. I also purchased a rail mount for a red dot sight that I have. DO NOT buy a rail mount for scopes unless you know how to rivet a stock rail to an airsoft AK-47. I recommend buying a sight mount that you can fit onto the rear ironsight of your AK-47. As for the Blowback feature not working right out of the box? That has to be a defective product! I think people need to give CYMA a chance because of this Assault Rifle."

"Good fps & accuracy w/ .20 gm bb's. I bought this gun as a base gun to customize. Wood stock/gripsneeded to be refinished and wobble in the front stock needed repair. I would recommend cleaning the barrel and lubricating blowback bolt and hop up with silicone oil BEFORE shooting for the first time- do it while you're waiting for the battery to charge. Beware if you plan to make internal mods. The EBB gearbox shell and piston are both different to accomodate the blowback feature. It DOES NOT take standard replacement pistons. In my opinion the blowback feature(although cool) is not worth it. I am replacing EBB gearbox w/ a standard version 3 so that it is fully upgradeable...blowback be damned! Caution to buy unless you are tech savy as with most AEG's. Good project gun nevertheless."

Summary: I think that CYMA went wayyy above and beyond with performance but when it comes to constuction they threw good quality wood and good quality metal but didnt spend much effort into making it a stiff tight gun however this may be able to be fixed by you...
