Our take:  CYMA's new Mod. 5 Tactical spring rifle package is an excellent value, and comes with a loaded Mod. 5 spring rifle that also includes a tactical forward grip and functional flashlight, standard.  CYMA has installed a relatively powerful spring, allowing this Mod. 5 to shoot with power and accuracy, the way a good spring rifle should shoot.  It's one of the best deals around for a loaded Airsoft spring rifle, and also features a full rear stock.

If you're looking for an affordable way to get into Airsoft without compromising looks or performance, the CYMA Mod. 5 tactical spring rifle package is definitely the way to go.

NOTE:  This spring gun is not recommended for field use.  This airsoft gun shoots at a low muzzle velocity and is not built to endure heavy gameplay.  While this airsoft gun is perfect for backyard skirmishes, or as a movie prop or collectible, we recommend that you browse through our Basic Series AEGs page for our full selection of field-ready guns.  You will find a wide variety of automatic electric guns on this page, including inexpensive AEGs perfect for new players.

"My first thought was wow this is terrible and cheap. All it is, is a pistol with a bunch of stupid accesories, thats what i thought. I loaded it up and put the clip in, and it wouldn't click in like it was supposed to. Well, that's what you get for something free, but i sanded the clip down so it fit and it's not as bad of a gun as i thought, it really is cool even if it is dollar store plastic and it has decent fps. If you're getting this for free it isnt bad, but don't waist $20 on it, i might pay 10 or 12 but for 20 it's a rip off, other guns on this site are better and cheaper."

"looks cool yes but its a springer so wont be to great in a AEG game. would be good for a zombie game or for playing with the younger group of players so it would not be a bad thing to have in my opinion especially if it's free"

    Don't waste your $!!!

"OK, here goes: - WAY smaller than I thought it would be. I was king of exited to get this free, as I already had an MP5, and this looked compatible. I was wrong. The mags are differant, and the gun is half the size of my CQR KWA. - Cheap Plastic, REALLY cheap plastic. - The mag won't lock in place at all, I can pull it right out without hitting the release. - The sight is bung. I bet if a BB hit that, it would break. Also, it was all white and filmy, not good. - The full orange front is annoying. I painted just the sight black, for looks, but left the muzzle orange, of course. HOWEVER, there were a few good parts: - As a movie maker, this piece is a good prop. It's ridiculously cheap plastic makes it really light. Sure, it looks cool, good for a movie prop. - The light is good, but is attached to the fore-grip. It's compatible with the rails on my P30, but not the KWA. The moral of the story: Don't waste $20. If you're looking for an airsoft gun, and serious, just spend $200 on a good gun and be done with it."

"Do not by this gun. I got it for free and I was expecting it to be a cool backup. The part that holds the clip broke on the 2nd day that I had it. the bottom rail is wobbly and even with Goldenball bb's they still don't fly straight. Around the second week my cousin was playing with it and it stopped working. Don't waste your money."

"Loved the idea of an extra rifle, I just got it, and it only shoots one bullet and they rest are blanks, then when you take the mag out, they all fall out of the gun (meaning they stay in the gun instead of leaving through the barrel) and then they say "since its free, no warranty" they forgot to add that to there AMS promise. Gun is fast, and strong from what I have observed through the one bullet, cannot see the bullet (unlike some other weak guns I know) throw the bullets that come with it in the garbage, they are dumb and weak. Get Goldenballs 0.20 G's they is good. Forgrip is sturdy, light is blue. Also don't use the mock sight, it's stupid, use the orange sight, it's better!"
