"First off, it's a spring gun... it's not meant to go up against AEG's. It's one of those guns you get just for backyard games - it is not comparable to bolt action sniper rifles (at least not decent ones). That said, it does make a very good spring gun. I bought this about 3 years ago when I was first getting into Airsoft, and it served me quite well and went through a lot of hard handling. All the internals are plastic, so things will start breaking eventually. I have had to fix a broken trigger and busted cylinder 3 times, but of course that was after a lot of use. The externals are also all plastic, the few metal parts being the bolt, rear iron sight and front rail/sling mount. The "accessories" aren't worth unpacking, unless you are going strictly for looks. As pointed out in other reviews, there are a few cons; the bolt is really hard to pull back (especially for younger players), the rear sling mount is plastic and breaks easily, and the gun is pretty hefty to lug around. You do get pretty good range and accuracy (the adjustable hop-up helps) - at about 100ft its pretty easy to hit a man size target with .20g bbs. DO NOT USE .12g bbs - its about as effective as throwing them. .20g bbs provide a nice balance between power and accuracy. I recently pulled my spring m14 off the wall and refurbished it, so it's now shooting a steady 300 fps. It is a fun gun to use, and the 40 round mag does last surprisingly long."
