"I'm not sure who writes these reviews and saw fit to give this rifle 5 stars, but here's the real deal from a real person. I own expensive all metal blow back airsoft rifles and pistols, and a few cheapies. This one is in the cheap category. First, the product description states 400/fps, but the side of the box says 278/fps. I had a difficult time finding any metal, so if there are metal parts used in the construction of this rifle, they must be on the inside. IMO, the rifle is mostly if not all plastic. The bolt is difficult to pull back and makes a noisy 'click' when fired. Snipers generally like practice stealth and silence, so a noisy rifle isn't ideal in a battle situation. With the plastic rail attached to the barrel's heat shield, you can't see down the iron sights. Sure, a red dot scope is included with this rifle, but it's very low quality and not the type that would be used for a sniper rifle that requires a more precise reticle designed for distance, not quick acquisition like this one. The reticle is illuminated so brightly, and the brightness is not adjustable, that you can't see the target beyond the reticle due to the glare. For whatever reason, the balance of the rifle is terrible, with the majority of weight being in the shoulder portion of the stock. Out of the box, the plastic rubberized butt pad was peeling off the stock. Sad to say, but the best thing about this rifle is the included flashlight. I've purchased other airsoft rifles in and around this price point, but this is by far the worst. Spend a few more dollars and get a better airsoft rifle because this one will leave you wishing you had."
