Our take:  The heavyweight and metallic KJW semi-automatic Mk I gas repeater target pistol is a classic, and one that is adept at taking out the enemies on the airsoft field, at that.  Being that the Mk I airsoft pistol is gas powered, semi-automatic shots ring out naturally, as you are limited to only how quickly you can pull the trigger.   It shoots hard, works flawlessly, is agile, and is accurate.  A realistic gun on every level, this metal KJW Mk I target pistol is at the top of the food chain in terms of gas repeaters.

Great gun
23/10/12
By: Mike

"I think it is an amazing gun for the price. I have no problems with the gun, but I can't do anything with a speed loader (I'll figure it out). Overall it is great. Pro: Stopping power. Con: Sometimes shoots multiple shots and decrease accuracy."

Awesome Ruger
16/11/11
By: Belthronding

"This is an amazing gun, and especially for the price. It is made largely of ABS plastic, but has a very nice feel to it, and has several metal parts. The magazine holds 17 rounds, so I would definitely recommend getting a second one, though are expensive at $30. In good conditions the fps is about 400, oftentimes more. However, in works very poorly in the cold, so I would not recommend using it in winter battles. Aside from in the cold, 3-4 magazines can be fired from a single load of gas if loaded properly. The gas cans also last a while. The only other negative thing is that it does not fire until the trigger is all the way back, which can through aiming off a bit. All in all though it is a great pistol and at a great price."

Great
02/10/11
By: Bob Barkley

"Great gun. You'll never find a more powerful pistol for this price. It's great quality, all the important parts are metal, and it's really easy to disassemble. All my friends are scared of it because of how loud it is. Only a few complaints: 1.Long trigger pull (you get used to this but your finger gets tired of you want to empty the whole mag quickly.) 2.The mag release is really weird. You get used to this also but it requires two hands to drop the mag out so there will be no quick mag changes here. 3.The safety can be a little hard at times but if you don't take it apart every 20 minutes for no reason at all then something slides into place and it works fine."

Bad A$$ Gun
01/07/11
By: Brian Kessler

"The MK1 is really accurate and has a high FPS. The 430 FPS is an understatement. Its mostly made of really tough ABS plastic which is hard to tell. But all metal insides and metal clip. Pros: Accurate, High FPS, easy to field strip & clean. Great construction. Cons: The trigger is a little hard to pull back, but you get used to it. And not a lot of room for big fingers in front of trigger or to wear gloves. Mine fit fine and I have normal size fingers. The pros way out way the cons. All I have to say is get this gun! Awesome deal here on Airsoft Megastore. Oh and to answer the previous review. Ok, it has been determined scientifically propane is the same as green gas. Green gas just has lubricant in it to keep your seals from drying and rotting. So it is perfectly safe. All you need to do is add 2 drops of 100% silicone oil for every 8-10 magazines. It can be the silicone spray too just as long as its 100%. So as long as you add silicone oil there is no difference."

Good Pistol
03/05/11
By: Michael Cooke

"Great pistol, chronod at 450 with .20 for me when I used, unfortunatly because it was cold and I was using propane on a freezing cold day, and the valve froze and broke when I shot it. I still recomend the gun just use when its warm."

Gas
29/03/11
By: David Holtby

"ok, i've had this gun for over a year, and the "long trigger pull problem" isn't a real problem at all. i don't even notice it anymore. the only thing i don't like about the gun is you have to tug a propane tank around you if you're playing, because the reason this gun is so powerful is because it uses a ton of gas on one bb. BUY IT IF YOU DON'T MIND FILLING OFTEN ON GAS"

"This is such a classic it's not even funny. I had an older version from 3 years ago, accidentally broke it while moving, so I bought another one. It's seriously like one of the hardest hitting gas guns you can get, compact design is awesome. Recommended for people likeme that have POWER as their #1 buying priority"

For ?'s
27/05/11
By: David Cox

"This gun does not have a cartridge because it comes with a gas (charged or powered) mag that holds 15+ rounds. The amount of rounds that you can shoot from one mag (charge) will differ from place to place (temperature). With hotter temp. and slower shooting you can unload some were around a mag and a half. Ex. 90F 1 and 1/2 mag, 60F maybe 1 mag. The 2 big factors to think about are where you live (Temp.), and how you play."

To the writers below me
14/05/10
By: nas'd

"Gas guns take CO2, green gas, and red gas. CO2 is cheaper and easier to find. You can find it here at ASMS. The problem with CO2 is it can leave a little residue in your gun which will eventually clog up the mag or gun, which ever holds the gas. Green gas is made specifically for airsoft guns. Its highly reccommended to use green gas because it isnt too expensive and the silicon oil helps give your gas full potential (HA!). It can be found here at airsoftmegastore either in a can that you spray into the gun or little bottles that hold the green gas. Red gas is basically green gas on steroids, made for guns made of full metal. Any thing not full metal would explode from the pressure of the red gas. Use .25 bbs minimum and green gas for max airsoft potential. If you want the gun to kill, use .28 with red gas. Though most places dont sell red gas in America so you'll have to buy it from either Asia or Europe as they use it alot. Hoped this cleared up the gas situation. =)"
