"I got this gun and I have to say that it is great so far. I have put about 700 rounds through it trying to setup the "acog" red dot sight. The weapon is firm and feels good in hand. I had a little trouble getting the laser dot where I wanted it and I think it is still a little off but I am prolly going to remove it since this gun has the acog. I thought the acog was going to have a slight magnification to it but it does not. Over all this is a great gun and great price for all the goodies it comes with. I assumed this package came with a NiCD battery, I just noticed today that it came with an 1100 MaH NiMH battery which is a bonus since now I don't have to worry about keeping the battery drained and all that other bad crap that comes with a NiCD battery. Just be sure to check the battery when you receive this as it doesn't mention what kind of battery you get."

"k to that guy below me my dad got that scope lined up and its grea.t also im 11 and this gun is light to me but its probaly because im used to heavy stuff but this gun is amazing for JG. the chrono for it is 378fps average with an rof of 8. The RIS is metal the stock is metal but the reciver is ABS plastic and is pretty sturdy. the laser is ok but the flaslight sucks. It looks, feels, and performs like a $2 flashlight. the magazine that came with mine broke to so i had to buy two new ones. It is also hard to put the battery in this gun. Pros: Great fps Good rof ACOG scope is good Mostly metal but the plastic parts are strong Cons: broken magazine horriable flshlight wish it was all metal It's hard to put the battery in. thats about it"

"Great gun, very realistic, hurts like hell. I played a few games with it and the accuracy was spot on. it has great distance. Its the best gun Ive ever used. I love that all i have to do is pull a pin and the barrel just slides out for easy cleaning and maintenance. I maintain all of my teams guns and its a long project to get them open, and a lot of screws to keep track of, i think other manufacturers should take a page from this guns book. I am very pleased, and i feel bad for anyone on the wrong side of this gun..."

" This gun has amazing accuracy, incedible FPS, and hits its targets with ATHORITY! The battery compartment is VERY tight. I suggest wrapping the wires in some electrical tape to protect them and make them easier to handle. Now, the acceseries are a completly differen't story. The flashlight is plastic and not sturdy at all but it gets the job done. The laser is a JOKE! It never worked. The foregrip was ok for a while but after about a month it split half-way down the side. But, about 15 minutes and some electrical tape later it worked good as new. Now, the sight. The red, green dot is very usefull. Make sure to turn it off because it is very easy to forget about. But the batteries stayed on for 4 days berore the died! "Okay to start off people this is a good gun along with the scope but the laser sux and the flashlight is plastic and isn't that great. the gun shoots 410-423.7 fps i chronoed and it is a solid gun the spread is low thanks to the tight-bore barrell and its really good so i do recommend this gun its mostly metal except the stock for grip and the pistol grip other wise a solid gun recommend getting peq box and 9.6v it rocks with a 9.6v "

"Gun works great had it for two years works great. Pro: good accuracy, frame is tough, hard hitting, and you can get it very dirty. Con: the grip it comes with brakes easily, and the battery is hard to get in, other than that great gun."

"WOW this gun is great! Pros of the Gun: Nearly all metal. Great ACOG scope. Great range and accuracy. Awesome power. Over 700rpm. Awesome foregrip! And more! Cons: Not all metal. You need to buy more mags. Short battery life. Hard to put battery in. Side rail laser's rail broke (made out of plastic) Quite a heavy gun. Strap was confusing i finally figured it out but then it nearly broke my gun (sending the barrel of my gun down into the mud. I guess because it weighs so much) And flash light is crap it barley works. Pros of my new accesory's: I got a Bipod it works flawless since gun weighs so much. Super high cap Mag (drum 5000rd magazine) Smart Charger is great i don't have to worry about it over loading. Cons of my Accessorys: Bipod adds about 3pounds (fully metal) Drum Mag adds like 6pounds when 5000 rds are in (seriously) Smart charger is great but is kinda slow. And thats about it! "***PLEASE READ*** The gun itself is excellent. Great range, comfortable and has excellent weight. The front sling attachment did break right away. I wasn't happy about that. The foregrip, crap. The flashlight, double crap. Don't even bother. The laser, ok. It works but takes a good amount of effort to zero in. The scope, good. I don't use it for CQB but it's nice for field missions and less like to get shot out. Lastly, be careful about ordering from the 'must have' pull down menu. Be sure you know what you are getting. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the gun. Your best bet though is to get a gun yourself and then customize the add-ons. Don't just get it with add-ons because they say it's a deal. You may not get the deal you want afterall. "Overall I'm impressed with this gun. It feels solid and the parts that need to be metal are. The gun shoots consistently although I also cannot adjust ACOG scope as mentioned by others. I took the caps off the adjustment screws and tried changing the settings, but the dot never actually moves. The scope was the main reason I bought this package... I'm wishing I had just bought the base model for $155. I also see that the scope is no longer available to purchase separately, which makes me wonder if that particular scope is known to be defective. The box it came in is marked "Sharpeye Classic - Quality Red Dot" but there are no instructions, model number, serial number or anything at all to find out any more information on it. Disappointing. "The fps on this is great. The only plastic on this is the upper and lower receiver(body), everything else is metal. Compared to a real M4 id say this is a bit heavier but still not too heavy. The hi-cap magazine is a nice touch. The red/green dot sight works perfectly once calibrated, calibration only took me about 5 minutes of shooting and adjusting. The front and rear sights fold down so the optic works flawlessly on it. The rate of fire is decent but the fps packs a mean punch. The bad. The battery goes in the handguard and it is annoying to get in place. The space is really tight. I've modified mine and I have no problems with the battery since then. The laser that came with this pointed to the left. The instructions said you can use an L-key to adjust it, but there's no place to adjust on the laser.. The foregrip is garbage, it broke the first time I tried putting it on. NOTE, I bought the recommended 9.6v Tengery mini battery and it DOES NOT fit. It too big."

"I just got the gun today and the gun is has a nice feel and touch. The ACOG scope is very good but the green dot on mine tturns off for some reason if you leave it on the green dot for some time. The flashlight did not come with batteries...looked kinda crappy but i have yet to try it, the laser looks good but the batteries were crap and came rusty and didnt work so i still have yet to try it. The forgrip is pretty ok, but feels pretty cheap too. All my hopes returned when i looked into the internals, there was a blak mech box!!!! That ment it waz the upgraded 2009 version yayayayayayay. The battery that came with it had a little bit of energy in it and idk why though because i decided to put it in the gun anyway. The gun shoots very hard too, one shot right through cardboard. Then the magazine i got with the gun actually fit perfectly despite the Dboys manufacturer. get the gun if you want a good acog scope for a discount price. "

People are rating guns 5 stars because they are too retarted to do some research or even read the freakin item description, now let me move onto my review, This gun is great. The gun shoots hard and fast. The scope is easy to use and the foregrip is steady. The reason why I rated it only 4 stars is because the battery compartment is extremely small and can barely fit the 8.4v battery that they give you... which by the way I recommend you swap out. I recommend you buy a 9.6v battery which will raise the rate of fire to about 1100 rounds per minute, and then you have to get a peq box. That will make your life a whole lot easier. "Bought this for my son. Very heavy for an 11 year old, but he loves the look. Gun is mostly metal. Battery compartment is nicer than my Dboy, but the battery is hard to get in there so that the flip down door/grip closes properly. Almost as if there is a sweet spot for the battery. Either way, it works out when you get it shut. Does not come with 3 point sling, but does come with the sling mounts. Red Dot scope was new, but will not adjust at all. I have had 3 people look at it. It is either busted or just a simulation thing. Laser is also not adjustable, but rotating it around made it decent. Laser is more of a scare tactic than an accuracy thing for an 11 year old. Flash light is plastic and will be the first thing to break. I plan on throwing it away next to the front pistol grip that cracked apart when we tightened it down... it immediately went into the garbage. I recommend the weapon, but not the accessories. ."

" Just bought this gun a month ago and was very pleased with the actual gun itself. The thing shoots like an animal and shredded the box I had set in the garage. However the laser and flashlight are complete junk and I was really upset when I received my package. The laser had instuctional issues and was not impressive to say the least. The flashlight was a joke and is not the same as the photo shown. So once again just very upsetting for the price paid. All in all I would say this package is not worth your time and you would be better off buying the gun by itself and then customizing your accessories. You will be much more satisfied if you choose the specific laser, light, and grip you want. Don't leave it up to the mega store because you won't be pleased, I promise. "
