"I`ve had this think for a short while now but as a avid airsoft player I have no doubt in saying that this is by far one of the best guns I`ve owned. Everything is sturdy, the barrel/sights/reciever/mag all metal. Only plastic is the fore grip, handel, and stock (But the VERY sturdy type of plastic). If you want a high end gun but don't want to pay alot this is the gun for you. Also if you don't have a smart charger "BUY ONE", I have had to replace too many batteries because of overheating. The battery charge time is calculated as follows: (battery's mAh rating) / (charger output in mA) x (1.4 for NiCad batteries, 1.5 for NiMh batteries) The mA for the charger output can be found on the wall charger. Like I said I got this exact gun so the charge time for the batteries that came with mine is: 1500 / 450 x 1.4 = 4.67 = 4 hours 40 mins. Hope that helps."

"This gun is very powerful,Accurate,And the rate of fire is pretty decent and it is ABSOLUTELY SILENT.(Atleast mine is) All the people i play with say that the silence is deadly. I had my friend stand at the other side of my my local field which is somewhat small and he couldnt hear it. It is amazing for being stealthy which i do alot when i play. For some reason my battery goes into the top battery area but i have a full stock but i have no problem with it. Fps is around 360 to 400. A little to high for CQB but just perfect for field. Can shoot accuratly for about 125/140 ft. But it can shoot farther. The mags hold ALOT of rounds. One down side is it doesnt have a threaded barrel.And you cant do alot of external upgrades to the ones without rails. I would reccomend it to anyone who is intrested in Ak's and is new to airsoft or has plenty of hours of playing time(which i do) I got this gun more than a year ago and im sure its going to stick around much longer! "Took it to my buddy's paintball shop the first day to make sure I got what I paid for... SURE ENOUGH 401 FPS! Wow I was skeptical when I got it but boy was I wrong. After the full charge of battery I was off to a day of shooting at a local arena. After a day's evaluation, I could not believe the range I was getting with this thing. I mean of course I was shooting indoors, but it was a good 30,000 sq ft lot so it was still pretty far distances. Fast forward about a month, and it's still running strong and smooth as ever. "Great gun this is a great gun but 1 thing is you have to clean the barrel out and i have seen thousands of guys who dont so take a paper towel and cut it into strips and put it on the jamming rod cleaning side and some lube oil and spray a little on he paper towel NOT in the barrel for AEGs and run it thru 2 times and pull it off and run dry strips thru it and then it will even improove the FPS and Rang . but over all GREAT GUN"

"I bought this gun around Sept. 09 and it's still going strong. I have put 30k +/- rounds through it. 9.6v batt. systema tbb w/auto drum mag. I took apart the mech box to freshen up the spring & give a once over. Everything looks ok. I'm very surprised for a $100 gun. Pro: JG gears (stamped) still look perfect and the sector gear has a sector clip nice bonus. cyl. head is poly w/2 o rings - surprised by 2 o rings Piston head is poly & ported w/good sized o ring Piston - last tooth is metal Con: stock spring is connected to inside of piston head so you have to remove piston head to swap springs 7mm plastic bushings - but look fine & I have been working 'em hard Spring guide does not have a bearing Nozzle does not have a o ring Overall I'd have to say this gun is a great buy at $100. "I just bought this AK about 1 week ago and it works great. I feel secure using this weapon in combat because of its great performance and accuracy. I shot from 60 feet away with the adjustable site set at 6 and no hop up, and i was hitting bulls eye, and at 84 feet away with the adjustable site set at 6, i was hitting bulls eye with the hop up set not even half way. Its incredible. The only thing that i found majorly wrong was that the front sight attached to the barrel would move side to side because of stripped screw wholes. I just took out the old screws and put new wider screws. This fills in the space that the old screws couldn't handle. i also had to tighten the safety lever but that just takes a screw to be tightened. I love it and my friends fear it. It's worth the buy. "I am an experienced airsofter and I have to say this was a decent AK. I only recommend this gun to beginners. This AK was a very nice weapon and it has served me great. It does shoot the noted FPS (380 to 410) and it can be upgraded at anytime. This weapon is accurate and reliable, but after about two months the fire selector got loose and it would only fire on semi. The gun would not shoot on automatic and could not be set to safe either, had to tighten and it and adjust to make it work again. The paint job is nice and holds quality unlike other weapons and the abs plastic is strong and durable. Overall good AK but only recommended for beginners."

"well ive had this since february of 2009, and i am happy that the thing hasnt broken from all the abuse its taken from snow rain and mud. i havent changed anything on the gun since i bought it and i have to say this gun has an amazingly great ROF and the FPS is decent as well. i like the way the hop up is made because its simplier than any of my other guns hop ups. the only complaints i have about the gun is after a while the front sight has become wobbly and the butt plate fell off at one time but i managed to find it. this is my first AEG i ever bbought and after buying 2 others i still perfer this over any of the other ones. "the only problem i had with this gun is the firing mode switch came loose. i read this in another review as well. there isnt really any way to tighten the switch either. so expect this to happen when you buy this gun. other than that great gun. i fixed mine by adding velcro stickers under the switch. sure you can figure it out the same way if you have this gun or just recently purchased it. "I got this gun and i charged the battery then i began to shoot it. It shot really great but then i switched to semi-automatic and it shot once then the gun just stopped working . I called airsoft megastore and they said it had internal problems so i had to send it back. But besides that it was really great. Its not to heavy and it feels great."

"This gun is without a doubt one of the most realistic classic AK s you can find on the market. Saying that, there are some blatant negatives towards it. Like many others claim, mine came with an EXTREMELY loose front sight and a loose selector switch. These are both easy fixes but the gun also doesn't feel very solid and seems like it's prone to breaking. In my opinion, i would buy a CYMA or save up a few more bucks and buy a better model. If your looking for a decent gun with extreme realism and can except these minor mechanical issues, i would buy it."

"ok for the selector switch you can take the cap off with a flat screw driver or something and once you do just tighten the bolt. (i had to do it to mine) and for the battery just look at the smart charger options it has..theyll work"

"I purchased this airsoft rifle about a year ago and took it out for 1 match and it did not hold up for just one match. During that match the rear sight fell off and the selector switch became loose. So overall if I could do it again I would spend more money and get a higher QUALITY gun. "

"When i first got this gun, i was very nice. It was sturdy except the mag was a little bit wobbly but that was no prblem. It worked great for the first couple of weeks, then things started to go a lil down hill. First the charging handle got very wobbly and made alot of noice while running. Second the fire selector switch became soo loose that i could spin around in circles andit woupd onpy shoot on semi. I tried to fix but it woupd become more loose. Third i was having a war and it just stopped shooting a half hour into the war after i had charged it for 4 hours( how long it should charge) that got me kinda angry. So i tried to take it apart and let me tell u right now, trying to take apart this ak is hell. So i thought i fixed but i didnt so its sittin in pieces in my garage right now. Overall this is a good gun if u r a beginner, it has a fast rate of fire and hurts:) if u dont play alot this is a great gun but if u do Play alot i recommed invsting in a nicer one"

"i got this gun for christmas, i had it for 2 hours and the selector switch FELL OFF, and then it jammed, so we sent it back and within 3 weeks (snow storm) i had it back, ive had it for 2 days and its really loose again, my advice is DONT GET THIS GUN, although they worked with us very well and they were very kind about it, and they had great service, the gun was just poor design, don't think bad about the company because of the gun"

"I may have just gotten unlucky, but this gun fell apart when i got it. Out of the box i charged the battery, shot twice and the fuse blew out. After fixing that it was shooting blanks, because the loose magazine wasn't feeding. Got a more firm clip then the gearbox stopped functioning... It looked great, and shot hard but was very cheaply made, and can't argue with the price."

"This AK was great the first few months. I bought it in April '12 but as of May '12 it started to fall apart. The safety, auto, semi auto switch became so loose it would not hold into position. It started to just spin in a circle and would not fire. The gun was not mishandled during play or dropped but for some reason the gun seemed to become worn way to quick within a few months. At $100 I would save a little more and and invest in a better built gun."
