In short, this rifle is an ABSOLUTE GAME-CHANGER. It's an amazingly-built, high-performance, high-durability HYPER-AEG, with a list of features so extensive that it seriously gives rifles costing up to TWICE as much (and we're talking market prices, not 'suggested retail') a run for their money.
The all-new GEN-4 JG R36C was conceptualized, engineered, and precision-manufactured by the same R&D division of JG that brought us one of the all-time classics, the JG M4 S-System. This time, they tore apart the R36-chassis platform and rebuilt it from the ground up, resulting in a new-enhanced R36C that's nothing short of amazing.
Advanced Build Structure
Unlike most other AEGs under $200, this AEG is NOT made from ABS plastic, nor is it made out of metal. Rather, it's constructed of solid nylon-polymer composite, which, from a structural standpoint, is more than 200% stronger than your standard ABS polymer due to nylon polymer's increased density and increased propensity to absorbing shock and impact. This AEG's receiver and hand guard is made from an advanced nylon-polymer composite, while the rear stock is made from a nylon-ABS composite for lightweight versatility. This combination of advanced materials engineering gives this GEN-4 R36C a ROCK SOLID BUILD; we stress-tested the weapon by repeatedly dropping it ON CONCRETE FROM 8 FEET, and it survived with nothing more than a few minor scratches to the body and hand guard. Though we do not recommend doing so with your own gun (voids warranty), we did so to prove a point: that this R36C is one of the most sophisticated we've ever seen, and a good sign of where Airsoft is going in the next 5 years.
R36 Hybrid Modular Carbine Variant
The NEW JG R36-HMC [Hybrid Modular Carbine] combines some of the best features of an M4 with an R36 type body to create one of the best CQB AEGs on the market! This R36 variant uses M4 type magazines, which are much more widely available and more compact. This means if your teammates use M4 type AEGs you can easily swap magazines, which keeps you in the game! The JG R36-HMC also features a NEW 614 style crane stock with 5 retractable positions and a large rubber butt pad for comfortable shouldering every time. The crane stock also provide excellent cheek weld making it even easier for you to aim down the sights.
The body of the JG R36-HMC is constructed entirely from high grade ABS polymer, which makes it both lightweight and extremely durable. The outer barrel and rails are constructed from full metal, adding to the durability of this compact CQB AEG. The long top rail has ample room for mounting a variety of optics and accessories, and the bottom rail has enough space for a fore-grip, flashlight, or laser attachment. The crane style stock does not fold to the side as the original R36 stocks do, but it has five retractable positions which work perfectly for tight CQB environments.
This improved and enhanced model of the JG R36-HMC has a redesigned full metal gearbox with upgraded bushings, upgraded full metal and durable polycarbonate internals, along with an upgraded high-torque motor. The two main M4 features that have been integrated into the R36 platform are:

2. The body and magazine well have been modified to use M4/ M16 magazines. That means you can use your favorite 300-round hi-cap or 130-round mid-cap M4/ M16 type magazine, or if your teammates use an M4 or M16 you can easily swap magazines if you are in a pinch.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly).
