"So I got my JG M4 it is a great gun! I Also got an extra 300 round mag, a duel mag clamp, 155mm suppressor, and a folding grip for it. I put a sling, light/lazier combo, and a red dot sight I had on it. Ok now to the gun it is a great gun I recommend it for open CQB fields and field play. It shoots fast and hard deff 400+ the rate of fire is good could be better I am going to put a Prometheus M170 spring into soon. it is pretty heavy but you can get used to it. Yes the battery is hard to put in, but you get used to it. Although i can get one of the spring pins on the side to go in but I cannot get the other too but everything stay shut and nothing falls out so not a problem but I wish it did work. It has a good group so far I shoot 20 grams with it I am going up to 25's soon because far out the start to curve but the gun shoots a great group. The iron sights are good the rail is great feels real looks real and overall is a great gun. Could use a bigger battery though I will work on that soon as well. Only jams i've had so far is trigger jams from shooting to fast in semi this is a quick fix by switching to full auto and shooting a short burst then switching back. Pros: shoots great looks great build strong. Cons: Weight battery. Over all I give it a 4 1/2 out of five I recommend this gun. Also the gear box is loud when you shoot but it sounds bad ass. I Enjoy it a lot."

"This gun is great and reliable, every one i play with is scared of getting hit. It is heavy and you need to be somewhat strong to maneuver quickly. this gun has lasted at least 6 months and not had any trouble except 3 things. First off the battery is very hard to fit into the compartment, your gun can jam up, but is fixed by going into full auto and shooting a few times. Third and last, the latch that holds down the back sight comes off easily, it is separated from the gun. if you lose this piece you back sight will probably not go down the same ever again unless you find this piece"

"Okay, JG has created a pretty incredible gun at a decent price but they have to get their act together with a few minor details. The BB's that come with the gun are awful so don't even think about using them. The battery is very weak so purchase a decent 8.4v.mini when you are buying this gun. Once you start using high grade BB's and a good battery this gun shoots great, has a high FPS and is very accurate. JG still makes a pretty good gun but they frustrate me when they skimp and give you crappy BB's and a wimpy battery. If you use their BB's the gun misfires and BB's will roll out of the barrel and could potentially cause damage to the gun."

"I've owned this model AEG for the last 5 years and I have owned many others, too. In all honesty, this has been my favorite AEG. I will note that the lower foregrip is perfect for the standard 8.4 volt batteries that come with the gun, but the moment you upgrade to a 9.6 volt battery, you may have an issue fitting it in the foregrip. With that said, the lower foregrip broke a little over a month ago because a buddy was trying to force the battery in. Even though it's metal, it managed to break. I picked up a mock PEQ case for the battery and rewired the gun so that I could attach the battery outside of the gun. Then I zip-tied the foregrip back onto the gun. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. My gun has been through some serious playtime and the only complaint I have is that the stock has become a little loose over the years. Other than that, this is a GREAT gun and this price is AMAZING. I paid $188 around 5 years ago."

"This gun is fantastic so far, I received it in a timely manner and the package was in good shape which kinda surprised me. First off the batters is difficult to situate in the lower part of the front hand-guard, but once you get how to do it its not so bad. Once I adjusted the hop-up(which is incredibly simple) and adjusted the gearbox (also simple but this is just to adjust the noise level of the gearbox.) This gun shoots very hard and very far in comparison to other airsoft guns of this value. I could hit a 2 liter bottle on the ground from about 200ft every time. The iron sights are kind of hard to adjust and didn't really help me at all when aiming. There is allot of metal on this gun however the main hand-guard/main receiver is some type of tough plastic. This is a super solid gun. I would recommend it to anyone I haven't tried putting any scopes or any other accessories yet but there are plenty of rails to support them."

"JG's best rifle, hands down is the M4 S-System. Ever since I got into airsoft about 6 years ago, I always had a hard time finding the perfect combination between power, range, accuracy, and most importantly, PRICE. Sure I've owned Maruis, CAs, and even a super upgraded ICS PCR-97, but I think I found the perfect rifle for me. Being that I come from a law enforcement background, I tend to be real picky with my guns. Lol. The JG M4 S-System shoots hard, shoots accurately, shoots straight, and does NOT back down in combat. Just the other day I took out 3 of the other team in a 5 minute span, from over 130 feet away. Sure, it didn't help that they all carried some variation of the HORRENDOUS Classic Army sportline series, but honestly, they should have known better. Pros: - Power - Price (really nothing you can buy for this price that will be any better in all aspects) - Looks - Solid build (rail system is amazing) - Barrel/gearbox/motor are all the newest upgraded parts (like on the rest of the JGs) Cons: - Sometimes the rail will get difficult to hold if you've been playing for a LONG time, but I solved that problem by putting a cheap $12 foregrip on it Overall though, I can't think of a better way to spend the $145. "I bought this gun because I wanted the full RIS system and the popup sites. Some guns have the RIS, but the front site is fixed, so you would see it through a dot site. I'm pretty sure this gun is quite durable despite the plastic receiver. The spread in full auto is a little wide but nothing too bad. When you first pick up this gun you'll find it has a very nice, realistic weight. I like when guns feel real. My AGM weighs 4 pounds and I DON'T like that it's so light because it feels unrealistic. The spring that holds down the rear site broke, causing the lever to fall out. Luckily, I can just remove the rear site easily if I don't want it. It fits any weaver/picatinny rail. If I want, I can put the rear site on my AGM to equip it with open sites. A spring upgrade is hardly necessary, since it already chronoed at 420 FPS with .20 g bbs. I wasted no time in pimping out my rails, and I'd suggest anyone else to do the same! :D pros: GREAT fps, high rof, good weight, mostly metal construction, good internals, rail system for optics, foregrips, etc., durable, overall high performing! cons: Hardly any. "at first i was discourage, since i didnt see much review from this store. but my gun arrived exactly 5 business days from the day i ordered. the gun itself shoot great and nothing is missing. i noticed a lot of people have trouble with the battery, but on my gun there was 2 zip ties that ties the cable on both end of the fuse box to the barrel. this allow me to easily put the battery on the drop down part of the battery cover without having those cable hanging out and getting in the way. just make sure that the battery plug sit next to the battery. all and all i was satisfied. i will purchase more from u guys. i just wish u have more items to choose from, like the items i see on the packages (ex: slings)"

"this gun is great, one of the most accurate a.s. guns ive ever shot. Good rof with 8.4 it comes with but i am using a 9.6 and occasionally a lipo and it screams. Im sure a nun chuck style battery should fit in the ris. Flash hider/orange tip is glued on, but i just twisted that off with locking pliers. Do not take the flash hider off if you dont have a silencer to put on, the orange tip is plastic and by unscrewing it you wont be able to screw it back on. The ris works and looks awesome. The sights work perfect and fold down if you just aim by looking where your bbs are going. The weight of the gun is pretty well balanced but does tend to feel heavy after a few hour long games. I adjusted the hop up, which is very easy to use and work with, and loaded my mags with .25s and this gun is just amazingly accurate. I chrono'd it with two fives and its shooting 365-370 which is plenty to shoot down field. Over all this gun is completely worth every dollar i spent i would suggest to anyone"

"I have the slightly customized version with the MOSFET chip and 9.6v battery. I use it for practice and I've put about 6,000 rounds through mine. It shoots well, but I found it to be very heavy. I have real AR-15s that are much lighter. I removed all the metal rails I did not need, the rear sight, and took a Dremel to the battery compartment to clean it up and make battery installation easier. I re-routed the wiring and tied it down. Then I put a weapons grade red-dot sight on it. I also used Locktite on some of the assembly screws as they came loose right away. It feels realy tight now and shoots hard and fast, but the accuracy is not nearly as good as my other JG-F6617 (which is also far lighter). I recommend this rifle, but be aware it is REALLY heavy, heavier than the real thing. Put a good red-dot on it and have fun. BTW Airsoft MegaStore rocks."

"This gun is awesome, I've had it for about 2 weeks and have taken it to 1 CQB and 1 Sniper match. If you want to lower fps to use it for CQB (Its was 398 when they Chromo'd it), you can set the hop up all the way down, and it decreases to about 350. The mag it came with (thank god I bought a spare) broke within the first 2 days, but i've fixed it (the gear did not have a long enough catch between teeth, so it kept unwinding. ) Pros: -Powerful -Very Accurate -Good Weight -Collapsible stock is good for CQB -Long rail system, for everything. Cons: -Fire to fast on Semi, and you must go to full auto. -Battery can be difficult to get in at first, but easy once you know how. Overall, this gun is totally worth buying."

"I love this gun. I just got it recently and so far loving it. I played a couple games at an Airsoft place but was over the FPS limit so they made me play on semi auto. About the battery. The only thing hard about getting it in was it slipping off of the catch for the battery and the connectors need to be in a certain spot. I actually found out Nunchuck/butterfly type batteries fit a lot easier and I put my Nunchuck 9.6v in it. (I had it cause I also have the cyma blowback mp5 .049J but it's gears just got stripped and am in the process of replacing them.) All in all great gun. Sorry for the long ass comment haha "

"just want to clarify that the guy a couple of reviews down is really slow in the head and airsoft megastore should delete that review since the guy shows that he has NO clue what he is talking about! The 2010 models come with a plastic body or a metal body. this one has the abs plastic body 160 buck vs the metal body 250 bucks. I love this gun and you cant beat the price for it. Ive owned it now for almost two months and i havnt had one problem. shoots fast and pretty accurate. A 9.6 does not fit this gun but there is a mod that you can do to make the 9.6 fit. Its a real easy mod, ive done it to my gun and i can fit a 9.6 2200 mah battery in it. the flash hider does unscrew from this gun, counter clockwise, but you have to wrench it off beacuse there is a little metal bar they put in to stop you from taking it off due to federal law. once its off tho you can buy almost any flash hider out there and screw it on. Best type bbs for this gun in my opinion are .23. overall awesome gun!!!!"

"I purchased this gun over four years ago and it still works like new. I have taken it to many airsoft wars and I have never had a problem with it. I even fell on it when I was walking along some jagged rocks, and all it had were a few marks on the receiver and magazine so it is very durable. It is mostly metal with the exception of the stock, hand guards, and receiver. You can remove the orange tip but it is a pain because you have to push out a pin and a screw then twist it to the right. Its rate of fire is decent, but its battery runs down after about 1500 shots. I recorded the following measurements with a chronograph: .12-gram average velocity: 458.9 fps .20-gram average velocity: 367.5 fps .25-gram average velocity: 336.1 fps Never shoot .12 grams out of this gun! If you do you will break the gear box. I did it only for testing purposes. Overall this is a great gun and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, reliable aeg."
