"I bought this gun about 4 months ago and it has been tried and tested in long range woodlands, and CQB house-to-house. It works phenominally and so far this is the best purchase I have made for an airsoft rifle. I crono it to 430 to 440 right out of the box and to this day it gets up to the same FPS. The barrel covering and the butstock is sturdy but made out of a stronger plastic than the rail and chambering unit. I would highly recommend a sling because of its moderate size. I personally have a fear of dropping anything plastic so thats my personal reason for getting a sling. The front of the but stock has a metal ring through it for people who want to use shoulder attachment slings rather than the larger, bulky slings. In CQB it is a little hard to move around with but its FPS makes up for it. It is not a heavy gun at all so you will be able to carry it without fautiguing your arms so that makes up for it in CQB as well. It dominates in long range engagements. It works well in woodland areas, which is what I mainly play in. It weighs in at about 6 to 7 pounds. The fire rate is not the highest but it is an accurate rifle when the hop-up is adjusted correctly and sighted in correctly as well. I am a semi-auto person and with me it is normally one-shot-one-kill so this rifle is accurate. Speaking of, the iron sights are great, accurate, and easy to sight in and are fully metal. A toddler could sight them in, just a hint of how easy they are to work with. The carrying handle is non-removable just like the M16a1 used in Vietnam. But there is small hole in the top of the handle if you want to add a small rail to put a red dot or scope. The plastic cover around the barrel is removable as well so if you want to get rid of that and add a barrel rail system so it is easily customizable there as well. The battery is located in the back opening of the but stock, and as with all JG guns in my experience, is a tight fit but not as much of a hassell as some. The battery is not a mini type battery as used JG MP5s, AUGs, and M4s. It is a big battery and gives it beast power. I do use Golden Ball bbs, .20 gram. I seriously recommend them! The gun comes with a 300 round high cap STAG mag that is used in today's M4s and M16s. Basically a replica of the 30 round mags. It does not come with the 20 round replica mags that the M16a1 in Vietnam used. I highly recommend getting them! I bought two Dboys M16 Vietnam 75 round mid cap mags. They do not jam the gun like the high cap wind up mags do and the only time you get a dry fire is when the mag is empty so if you buy those, you save stress on your gun. My first time using this gun, it was drizzling rain outside and cold. Not once did this gun fail. I was up against 400+ FPS rifles and 500+ FPS sniper rifles with this M16a1 and it preformed remarkably well and never quit on me. It still works like new today after four months of use. I airsoft about once a week to give u hint of how much this rifle can take and used it in cold conditions of snow and rain s well as hot ares in dust, mud, and in areas of mass vegetation and still works beautifully. I highly recommend this gun! Good price, and will last any air soft player, beginner or veteran. Sorry for it being a long review. Just wanted to do it properly and give as much info as possible."
