I have not had mine for very long, and have only played a couple of games with it, but every experienced player I have played with has been shocked when my gun literally shoots their $200 and $150 snipers out of the water. "i just got this gun on thursday. i opened the box and it was amazing. i had gotten it on another website, and its the exact same model as this one. i look forward to using this in the next airsoft war, because i just bought a red dot scope for it....Mwahahahaha lol PROS: -great fps (roughly 350) -great ROF -has 2 rails included, an abs plastic one on top, and a full metal one on bottom ( to mount grenade launchers and such) also, you can install more rails on the sides, because there are screw holes for them. -shoots quite far, around 125-150 (accurately) - adjustable rear sight CONS: -does not come with side rails -watch the wires on battery when installing, they can get caught -did not come with a sling( for me atleast) And another little note, you can actually buy drum clips for these. "So, I purchased this as my first airsoft AEG, hoping to go into the field dominating the course. Well, after about ten or so matches, I can say this gun is pretty decent as far as they go. Maybe I got a lower powered model, but I do have a complaint about the misleading advertising on my gun, read below. Pros *Accuracy is pretty decent, good enough to hit someone from a decent range *Looks like the real gun, and the rails work perfectly. *Shoots fast if you purchase the 9.6V. It reallt is worth the extra cash. Nearly double the fire rate. Cons *Lower then advertised fps. Maybe my model is somewhat defective, but my gun chrono'd at 280fps- 290fps constant. Additional notes *Great starter gun. Easy to use, the mags work great. *If you are looking for the "High performance AEG" that will rock the field and make everyone turn their heads, look elsewhere. "This is another great gun by JG. It's definitely a field rifle, not a backyard gun at all. The thing leaves bleeding welts on bare skin at close range. "I have 2 of these guns, both JG, one marketed under ASG. I got one new for 120.00 and the other used on ebay for 13.50. Yes 13.50. For a beginner they are phenominal. Good rate of fire with a 9.6 battery and accurate with .20's. They are durable and lay down a good amunt of fire. I have not had any jamming issues at all. I got these to stay one step ahead of my kids in our family arms race. I'm winning. The only con I can say about them is that putting the battery in is a bit tricky but if you do it a few times, you'll have no problems. I like the flash mag's much better than the hi cap's you have to wind."

"It is realy for both, it has the range to go feild, but i has a colapsable stock for cqb it is a gun for both, it is an awesome gun, i got the 2010 model about a year and a half ago and it was running great, after a few months i started doing upkeep on it and it was even better. "Alright, so people have been asking constantely with 9.6 volt batteries, ok yes they fit, the tenergy 9.6 (yellowish) fits well, if you sand down the small peice of plastic in the battery compartment. :) rate of fire with 8.4 is good, 9.6 is a bit better. range with the right hop up ajustment is 40yrds to 55yrds. me personally have found that shooting this gun in bursts (3-5 rounds) and that prevents jams and saves ammo and keeps the range and accuracy up. i have a sniper scope on mine and works like a charm. short barrel holds it own trust me. Great buy worth every penny "

"This gun is amazing! I took it out of the case, cleaned the barrel (Chinese made guns ALWAYS come dirty :P), and adjusted the hop up so that the BB's were shooting on an even plane. The BB's were flying at around 370-380 FPS and traveling to just about 170ft with Damn good accuracy. I got a chance to use it in the field, and in urban combat, and it is amazing for both. But however... the Flashhider is GLUED onto the outer barrel making it dam near impossible to paint it black without getting crap in the inner barrel :( Or put a cooler flashhider on there for that matter... "I originally bought this for my girlfriends little brother "age 12" and found it to be shooting pretty dang straight. Once we fine-tuned the Hop-up "barley needed" it was shooting 6-8" groups at roughly 100 feet. his friends are all getting owned. I dont know how people are saying that it shoots in the 400s but its around 350 fps. I would recommend this to anyone. JG makes a great shooting gun these days. "This gun is very cool. it looks awesome, it feels awesome. it shoots between 340 and 380fps with .20 gram bbs. Like the kid below me said the last 30 bbs don,t load with the clip which is a real pain. Runs a 9.6V mini battery with no problem, just had to mod the battery a little to make it fit in the normal battery hold possition. I figured it would be an okay gun, boy was I wrong! It keeps me in the game with people playing with upgraded more expensive models. I shoot .23G Golden Ball ammo and is dead on accurate. "Woah ok so this gun is probably the best gun available for this price. the rate of fire is quite fast and at about 60-70 feet i got 80 out of 100 shots onto a 6inX6in target which i find fairly impressive. Also about the FPS of the gun, i tested mine and every shot i fired came out of the barrel at 370-390 FPS so more accurately rated, just not quite as powerful as they say. Also i think that it is important to mention that this gun feels great. the weight of it, and the balance seem well done, and the folding stock is extremely sturdy. "Ok i got the old version of this gun the only difference ws it ws called the "G" 36c nt the r36c it has been a very dependable gun i ws running down a hil w ths gun and i tripped and everything (me included) took a couple of violant slapps from the ground as me, the gun, and wat ever the hell else i had w me toumbled down wat seemed to be a mtn. to wat ws really a large hill. and yes it took some dammage but the dammage ws to parts tht had already had loads of stress and tht ws just slight separation of the battery cover/ barrel end. even after tht the gun still fires an amazing 800rds per minute fully charged(easily 1000+ w the 9 volt battery) the separation of the battery cover pieces has stopped and is sturdy. It does tend to studer commonly but tht is natural to either quick short-circuting or the battery at early stages of wearing to the need of recharging. sometimes an odd trigger pull willcause not a miss-fire but a no-fire, but then again mine is fairly beat up.... : /...."

"i recentlu bought this item. i mainly got it b/c i love the g36 series. in my opinion one of the best assault rifles currenty in use(the real one) and it's nice to shoot too. this replica also feels very nice, the weight and feel is very similar to the real thing. it shoots around 15 rounds per second(also depends on how well you charged your battery) and has decent range. yesterday i went and played with 3rd force recon from MA, and the weapon performed very well. with skill and practice you can hit human sized target at 150 ft. and easily at 100 ft. it is also very useful in a cqb environment due the size and collapsible stock. the only drawback is that there is not much room for a bigger battery, but that can easily be solved with a battery bag. if you are looking to start playing, this is the best deal you can get for a g36 series!"

But anyways, this gun is mostly all hard plastic (so is the real steel gun) and the iron sights are too low to use if you wear one of those large noob masks unless you have the stock folded. On the other hand, this can take M4 mags only if you get an M4 Magwell for it, for the battery, due it's small handguard, it can only hold 9.6v mini's or lower, and for the dude below me with the jamming problem, check your mag, some JG g36 mags are defective and you may need to buy a new one. Now on to the review: Good fps (mine was chrono'd at 481 average), good weight, metal iron sights are accurate but got a red dot scope which is 95% accurate, folding stock, good rails (bottom one is metal, upper one is plastic, but very sturdy), no wobbles.... there's much more! 5 stars!"

"well, this gun is pretty awesome. I've had it for about 6 months now and it is still in good shape. This gun shoots super hard, (it's almost scary) and has good battery life(about 1000 rounds or so). i have a smart charger so charging only takes about 15 minutes. An annoying downside that ticks me off occasionally is how difficult it is to get the battery in. One time i spent half an hour trying to get it in. after a while though u get used to it and its not so bad. Also the mag it comes with is really shitty so buy the 150 round no wind up mag from here like i did. It works so much better cause with the 400 cap wind mag it only feeds for like 300 shots then it doesn't work. But the mag will probably still work for u just depends on your preference. "I got this gun about a month ago and it is amazing! I have used it in a couple of games so far and have had no problems at all. It is not metal but neither is the real G36C. It is made of the very sturdy ABS plastic. The stock folds in and holds firmly and locks back in easily. The battery it comes with is a mini 8.4v 1100mah. I went ahead and got a second battery just because we play all day usually. The gun is amazingly accurate and hits hard. It can eat through a pop can no problem. I bought the 5 pack of star mid cap mags and they work but they dont fit as nicely as the one it comes with. I just used a dremel and sanded them down to fit nicely. Overall this gun was worth every penny. I would recommend it to anyone. "

"This is a fantastic gun with lots of pros and only a couple cons. ive had it for a year and it still works great and is still a great gun. PROS: 1. Amazing performance, very fast, easy to manuever, and great build 2. The sights are very nice and allow me to accurately shoot at targets from very far away. 3. The mag is extremely hi-cap for such a mid-level AEG, ive never run out during a game, even when i play three games in a row with the same magazine in. 4. Durable, even though its polymer. Ive put this gun to the test, being on the ground, swinging it around cover, and dropping it once or twice,and it holds up beautifully. CONS: 1. The battery casing is always a very tight fit, and its hard to get the battery in quite often. Usually requires a bit of force. 2. Not very accurate. 3. The bottom rail isnt tight. The old screw fell out, and i put a new one in, and that eventually became loose. I tried attaching a foregrip, but it was too loose and didnt fit well at all."

"Very good gun for games. Pros Pretty Accurate Full Metal Gearbox Semi to Full Auto Con the only con i can really thing of is the magazine hold a lot 470 but once you get down to the end it will not shoot the last 20-30 rounds for what ever reason Also a lot of people dont like the sights for this gun but I like them and they are pretty accurate for nearly 100 ft so all is good. I have use this gun for outdoor gaming but I use a red\green dot sight which is very nice. This gun is to powerful for CQB at least where I am from. But overall really good accurate gun."

"i got this gun about a week ago and it is my first AEG. so far it's pretty sweet. its sturdy, and it has a nice feel, and weight to it. it's extremely accurate, i've adjusted the hop up and the sights on mine so its all good. the only thing i found that i don't like is that the fore grip is kinda hard to get on and off to take the battery out, but i guess that just takes some getting used to. overall it's a great gun, and i highly recommend it!
