"Ok here is the scoop: I have owned several high grade AEG guns including both the Thompson M1A1 and the Schmeisser MP40 and this gun beats them both HANDS DOWN!! The rate of fire straight out of the box is quite impressive, along with the FPS! It weighs quite a bit less than any of my old guns and that makes it great for long hours of combat without wearing out the user. Anyway, let me wrap up with the pros and cons. Pros: Impressive rate of fire High FPS High cap 200 round mag (gotta love this!) Extremely light yet very durable Ambidextrous fire selector switches Large type battery (lasts VERY long!) Excellent accuracy especially for SMG Cons: None!!! I love this gun!! "

"This gun is great! i have used it for over a year and it has never let me down. The metal internal design has made it durable and reliable even through harsh treatment. The fps and range are just right and make this gun accurate and powerful. The only cons are that mag is really flimsy when in the gun and it can be unreliable at times, and the battery is not that reliable and came cracked open when i got the gun. I got a 9.6 volt battery and it works great with it. I recommend this to anyone is a casual player who wants a good reliable gun for a not to expensive price. "

"this gun is pure awsome pros, almost dead on accurate, grate ROF (rate of fire), about 380-400 fps (with 20g bbs)' sights are awsome, verry sturdy, battery holds a good charge. cons, clip holds 200 rds. over all this is a grate gun i would say buy it you will not be upset. I got hit just by a ricochet and it left a little welt from about 20ft. use 20g or 25g never 12g. you could get a 9.6v but the 8.4 is good enough. but i 100% say get it. thanks for reading. "

"My friend used to have this very gun. it shoots around 365-380 fps. great rate of fire (with upgraded battery). it is very durable, it shoots far, and hard. it is incredibly light ( that i remember). Very manuverable. after about 9 months of owning it though his fire selector messed up, it wouldnt go in safe and wouldnt shoot semi automatic. also, the mag wiggled a little bit. but it never fell out or nothin bad, its quiet and overall a good gun. ( please note that he take poor care of his guns, and this on in particular worked very well. he tended to drop it alot so the fire selector is something that wont just..happen.) Worth the every penny!!!!"

"My friend has this gun and I have used it in quite a few rounds of play. My only expression is, Incredible. This gun is amazing, it out works a $140 M4 and a $235 G36. It is a cheap way to dominate your combat experience. And the real stats on this gun are that it shoots 400 fps and 900 rpm. That's the truth, trust me it's gotten me out of some sticky situations before. If your looking to dominate your friends on the field then BUY THIS GUN!!!!!"

"Okay i have been airsofting for a while and i have upgraded and bought some of the best guns on the market. But lately i really wanted a mp5 sd5 model and i have always known about this gun but never even bothered because of the fact that is jg. But i am on a budget and bought this gun with intentions of upgrading well those intentions are gone temporally because this thing shoots absolutely amazing. even thought the barrel is so short it has good range with a decent hop-up, most stock hop-ups i get don't even really work. But yes if you don't mind the plastic body i don't because i wear gloves so really i don't feel it but it fit my budget and looks amazing. "

"the fps on this gun isnt falsely advertised. Most JG guns are chronoed using .12 gram bb's by the manufacturer! AMS just puts what the see on the box for stats. The FPS on this gun is around 315 wit .20's. and is a good cqb weapon."

"I've owned this gun for about three weeks now, and I've used it in two annihilation scenarios and multiple milsim games. This gun has the highest FPS and best accuracy than ANY gun I've ever owned (and that's sayin' alot)!!! And I only use .2 gram TSD bbs! I would recommend this gun to ANYONE who wants the BEST AEG for the cheapest price! I personally wish I had bought the version with the retractible stock, but this one is decent enough. "When I got this gun I just flipped out. It has amazing looks, feel, and performance. Fires very accurately but yet loud... It's good or bad depending on how you play. For me it doesn't matter, Im more of a Run and Gun person. This gun has a high ROF (Rate of Fire) and weighs about 5 pounds, shouldn't be much of a problem for most people. Pro's and Con's for this gun... Pro's: Very nice, realistic looks Excellent performance and accuracy Great feel Low price for an awesome gun All around great gun if you are a fan of it. Con's: Very loud (Again, depending on how you play) The selecter switch can easily come off... almost lost it one time. The rear Iron Sight is a bit squeaky when you are trying to adjust it. The charging handle can slowly start to loosen up if you mess with it alot....( Not Guilty )..... Other than that this MP5 SD is well worth your money. "OKAY , so first of all the guy that said he took 6 shots and it died..1 its either the battery or the fuse . This gun DOES have metal parts , full metal gear box , fire selector switch and alot more .I love the full stock . GREAT deal i dunno if you can beat it for the price . $107 for a battery , trickle charger and a mag , hell thats an amazing deal . "This Gun is absolutely awesome. it has an amazing fire rate, and the hop up is FULLY adjustable for any situation , and maximum accuracy. It is the BEST BUILT GUN i have ever seen, I LEFT MINE OUTSIDE, UNCOVERED, IN THE RAIN for about a MONTH AND A HALF, and the only thing that needed to be replaced was the battery. "ok so i got this gun around a year ago now and i have never had a problem with it. ok this gun has a good fps of about 370-380, so its a little over alot of cqb fields fps limit but i play in woods, this gun also has a good 14-16 rof. i just found out how to take off the mock suppressor last week so its shorter, and still as accurate.its good up to around 100-120 feet but farther than that and it gets less acurate by the feet! overall this is a pretty good gun for only $110."

"This m5 variation is an amazing gun for the price. It has a very high rof and is extremely accurate. The large-type battery that it comes with lasts a pretty long time too. Its a very comfortable gun and can be used for cqb and feild ops. Its nice and short but really acurate. Now there are some cons too. The gun is almost completely plastic with the exception of the gear box and some externals. Its a fairly sturdy plastic though and i haven't had any trouble with it. It also has terrible trigger response. Don't expect to use this on semi with a quick trigger-finger because you will jam the spring and break your mag. The trigger response is just too slow. This is a problem because many cqb places require you to use semi. Use this on full-auto whenever possible. Other than that the gun is a GREAT gun for beginers and guys starting to get into really good guns. I've had it for a year now and haven't had much trouble with it at all. I recomend this to anyone."

"i got this weapon a few months ago, and it hasn had a mishap in functionality. came with everything it was supposed to come with. i have a 11.1v firefox lipo in mine and to make a long story short its fricken insane. along with the metal gearbox and high torqe custom motor..which are stock. it holds fast. very shocking to me. i bought a large to mini type connector. and lipo fits fine in stock. rate of fire is nuts to say the least. uped in power too. also makes it much quiter. and ya i know lipos degrade gearboxes faster, but i dont use it often as some would. overall good gun. accuracy and range almost sniper grade. wish it came with rails to mount optics and so on. but thats what aftermarkets for haha. BUY It!!!"

"First AEG i got, but I've been in airsoft a while. I'll do this pro and con style: Pros: Fully auto or semi auto good weight and feel easy battery install overall good performance on the feild adjustable ironsights are good Cons: safety switch could be more solid jams if you walk the trigger mags not perfect, have jammed before a tad innacurate with .20 bbs, need heavier for best accuracy Other: I bought an extra mags, so i had 2, but one broke and no longer feeds (not a gun problem) BUY A SMART CHARGER!! I did and I do not regret it, protect your battery by not overcharging it! (battery runs i would estimate four hours of fairly constant gameplay, or about 1500 rounds worth). NOW A QUESTION: Anonymous Person from Santa Clarita, CA United States said the mock silencer was detachable, but it seems solid on there to em, so could someone who knows explain how to take it off (or is Anonymous Person just reviewing the wrong gun?)?"

"I got this gun about a week ago and I love it for the most part! I have a problem with the mag not wanting to feed AT ALL! I think the mag is bad thou so not gonna blame the gun.
