MAG-5000DRUM

Our take: The A&K manufactured 5,000rd M4/M16 super high capacity box magazine is one of the BEST high-volume mags you can get for your M4 / M16 / AR AEG.  It effectively turns your AEG into an effective support weapon, without any major modifications needed on the actual receiver of your rifle.  A large loading compartment opens to allow you to pour up to 5,000 BBs into the mag, and a large, easy to turn gear wheel located at the bottom of the drum mag allows you to effortlessly wind BBs up the feed and into your AEG for seamless full-auto firing.

Compatibility: This box mag is compatible with A&K, DBoys, CYMA, JG, Echo 1, ICS, G&G, Classic Army and Tokyo Marui M4/M16 AEGs. Excellent quality and finish.

NOTE: The gun shown in the product images is NOT included.

Excellent Magazine
28/11/10
By: Suppressed Howitzer

"This magazine works great for field airsoft games, but not for qcb because it is so big and heavy. It really does hold 5000 BB's, needless to say you will never have to reload. I have taken it to many airsoft wars and it has proven to be durable and reliable. The winding gear is easy and smooth and does not bite into your finger. Though it may be priced a little to high it is well worth it if you airsoft a lot. I would recommend this magazine to anybody who it tired of reloading. "

Very Handy in the field.

"I got this last week and had a battle at my buddies 50 acre farm. I never had to carry additional magazines because this held it all. My buddy has one also. We wanted to try something different with the teams, so it was the two of us vs. 5 other guys and we dominated. I recommend this to anyone who is tired of having to change magazines."

Outstanding!

By: The heavy gunner

"I'm a run and gun type of guy and with this, a heavy rifle and running, not a great idea and having to reload on top of that. This drum though, you could hip fire all over the area and odds are really good that you hit target at least twice, and you won't have to reload afterwords. It's smaller than it looks but it holds 5,000 rounds, I emptied the bag bag I got with mine. Just make sure if your a lead finger like me, that you bring something to carry this mag in once it runs out."

Perfect Mag for M4's!
04/01/13
By: RED

"I got this mag for my A&K M4 S-System and it is amazing! You barely have to wind the mag and when you do it is really easy and never jams. I'm a support guy on my team so instead of buying an expensive Lmg you can put this on your m4 and be a war machine. I do recommend carrying just one small mag incase it gets to heavy for you to carry or for cqb. Pros: High cap, Easy Wind, Durable, Cheap, compatible with a lot of m4/m16's Cons: None!"

just buy it

By: matt higgins

"ok it holds 5000 rounds...you'll never run out in the middle of a big op. this keeps up with my custom g&g with a 10.8 in it. the drum keeps up with the high rate of fire and also has a bigger spring than regular high caps so you can fire more before having to rewind it. just buy it so you can stop wasting money on other magazines. "got this box mag 2 days ago and used it today in a battle and it worked great didn't have to wind it up that much and i was able to shoot off about 500 bb's before i had to wind it again. deffenitly buy this thing if you can you really dont need the electric wind up one either it just cost more."

"this box mag is alright the only thing it that it is a tight fit at first and you have to keep winding it. Also it has to be manually loaded when you want to refill the main mag it is not just one whole box. "

mildly satisfying. but im selling it.
15/09/10
By: Matt

"when i got this mag i looked at all the really great reviews and said, yeah sure why not, i could turn my M4 Carbine into an LMG. the feed for the bb's is not that reliable on automatic, but on semi-auto its great. the only problem is that i play with a bunch of cheap turds who use snipers as shotguns at point-blank range with powerful AEG's amd high-performance pistols... jerks. anyways, as you can imagine, semi-auto wont fly with them, so il sell it to anybody for $25. im sure we can work something out on the shipping, maybe save you a few more $$$ if you live by or near michigan, considering that the airsoft megastore's warehouse is in california. the magazine is in mint condition, i havent taken it to any wars yet, just used it as target practice. theres not a scratch on it, and if you see that there is then ill pay return shiping. contact me at Mweyand@linkwey.com if you are interested. i check my email at a monthly basis so dont fret if i dont get back to ya soon, but i will. Great buy.

"This drum mag is the best attatchment to an m4 aeg in my opinion. However I will only give five stars for a 2 version with auto winding. It shoots thirty rds then I have to wind and its a little teatious because thats what im used to with standard and i bought this to ne different. but if u ask me this mag is underpriced and to describe how awesome and b.a. it looks would require the invention of (a) new word(s). If you don't buy your missing out."

Annoying to wind
06/02/12
By: Josh Medrano

"This is a good magazine. It's got a solid ABS build and fits perfectly on my JG M4 S-System. Although it has a high capacity and good construction, it is a bit of a pain to have to wind. Although it is more expensive, I would seriously recommend buying an electric auto-winding box mag instead."

Box mag-field tested
26/08/10
By: William Wynn

"I got this box mag a few weeks ago and have since field tested it. I took it out and was running my mk12 M-16 D'boys as a support gun. It worked great for a while but I ran into problems with the BBs feeding in after I got a little low on ammo. This may be due to the actual feed chamber being low . I am going to do more test and will post results later. Over all a good ,sturdy mag that got a lot of second takes on the playing field. Absolutely great for converting your assault AEG into a support weapon."
