"I purchased this Sniper Rifle for my grandson. I have had a great deal of experience with guns, and it's clear that this product has been poorly manufactured with respect to the tolerances of sub-assemblies which require final assembly by the consumer.
I have come to expect poor documentation for products made in China. However, poor product quality is not acceptable.
The barrel assembly (bore) does not align correctly with the gun body. The two parts had to be forced to fit together, and the holes for the bolts (labeled "screws" on the instructions sheet) do not line up correctly. It took a great deal of work to get the bolts to engage with the barrel assembly.
The bolt action continually jams. In order to correct this, the gun needs to be disassembled and then reassembled. However, after a few shots, it jams again due to the fragile pins in this subassembly.
The magazine does not line up correctly with the assembled barrel and gun body. The part that extends into the barrel and feeds the BBs has to be forced every time the mag is inserted. There is obvious wear on this part from just the few times we have inserted the mag and tried to shoot with the gun.
After complaining to customer service, I was told I'd have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee if I wanted to return it. Not only is this bad customer service, but charging a fee to restock a product that doesn't work? Not acceptable I finally gave up an will take my business elsewhere!"
