If you are going to buy this gun I suggest buying the package with the scope and the bi-pod because it is hard to hold steady in a war. Also, buy .25 gram BB's and leave the hop-up low, it has a very strong hop-up system. The effective range is about 90 ft with .2 gram BB's but get .25 gram BB's for better accuracy. I can hit a target with a diameter of 1 ft every time. It weighs a little over 6 pounds and comes with a sling. The sling is not the greatest I suggest putting a sling from a gym bag on it instead of the sling it came with. Overall this is a good hard hitting gun. Buy it!"

"this rifle is great! dont let the price fool you! my first airsoft war with it went amazing!! it seems to have a certain intimidation factor. i was playing with a bunch of othe kids (12-14 or so) and they wouldnt advance within 40 yards of me for fear of being shot! it is also very durable. it is like the ak47 of snipers. i tripped in 2 feet of snow and the gun got completely buried, i pulled it out, wiped it off a little with my glove and kept shooting. also, one screw comes out to take off the stock. pros... accurate powerful light range looks cool bolt action FTW!! cons... stock feels cheap but is durable enough hop-up is a little too powerful overall a great gun and for only $60!! "I bought this gun from a different website a couple months ago. Its dead accurate,(after lowering hop-up). Every game i've been in since then(alot)i haven't missed a shot. "I've tried many airsoft snipers, spring, gas, and even electric. Personally, i prefer the top of the line gas guns, but otherwise, this is my choice in the spring category. It's funny how incredible this sniper is for its price. A high fps, decent accuracy (I use .20g and should prob. use heavier weights), and a fair loading (cocking) system. Pros: cheap (price) accurate high fps high rate of fire (for a bolt action, once you get used to it) large mag removable orange tip Cons: Cheap mag, (buy a few, they will break sometime) Cheap bolt Safety is nice, but in a bad place. hard to attach a bi pod too plastic body feels cheap, but withstands a lot I actually snapped off my bolt, seeing as it's made of a cheap aluminum and I was really yanking it. "this is my first gun from this website and it works great and now i'm looking at an electric gun because is lose since it is bolt action. Shot my sister from 10ft away(acident) it turned blue then went away. shot my friend in the butt (thought it wouldn't fire) because it wasnt firing because the clip wan't in all the way. blamed it on my friend he bought it for a while. very accurate with .25 bbs the only thing that i didn't need was a bipod but it helped with sight the bullets. my friend used it one time and shot someone in the nose (he was wearing glasses but that was it remember saftey first) he acted like a sniper in modern warfare 2 and held his breath. Unfortunatley the trigger is now broken (the gun is good but try not to pull the bolt back twice back with bbs in it). now i might have to upgrade the trigger or get a new gun.(trigger cost around $175 if found"

"I recieved this gun a couple of months ago from Megastore. Shipment arrived on time and no items were missing. The box took a little beating but UPS is to blame for that. The directions to the gun took a little while to figure out- the manufactures fault. However that little bit of time was worth it. The stock is high quality plastic and the barrel assembly is almost all metal. The gun is very accurate to about 100ft. i am able to hit the center of a soda can from this distance. the bb's still stay true over greater distances. the gun shoots at least 400 fps (i havent chrono'd it). the mag does has issues when u try to eject it, however play around with it for a little and you will figure out how to get it to work nice everytime. The gun can take a beating. I accidently threw it across a parking lot and all it got were scratches. For the price you cannot get any better either. There are a lot of possible upgrades for under a $100 that can make this gun even better. "

"Okay so first off this was my first gun so my review's not professional or anything but I'll try my best. With that out of the way, this gun kicks @$$!!! I took it to one field and a back yard war and in both cases I could easily take down targets at 100-150ft. BB's didn't even start falling off until around 175-200ft. I bought a separate scope with this as it has no iron sights and it's obviously meant for long range so I suggest you do the same. The one problem I ran into wasn't the gun itself but the mag. The spring came loose inside of it and it won't load correctly, so be sure to be careful with the mags. Other than that, it's a sexy beast!"

"I'm sure that since you ordered this for your grandson, you must not know much about airsoft, considering you are one of the old folks. If you got the bb's from the scroll down menu, you might have accidentally got .12's, which are for spring pistols, and lower level electric guns only. If you look under player resources then click on "the importance of good bb's and it will show you examples of bad bbs and what they can do to even a full metal quality gun. It also clearly states that damage due to .12 gram bb's or other sporting goods brands can and WILL void your warranty. So if I were you, I'd ask your grandson which ones are good and which are not next time."

"this gun is a very basic and easy to put together. for the pricethis gun is good because it does shoot at a good fps and it is fairly acurate ( 75ft 3.5-4in cluster). the only setback is that it cannot handle any weathering of any kind and over time the locking for the bolt action gets grinded down, leaving it unable to use. no hear me out. ive had the gun for 3 years before it did that and i treated it like crap, so everything should be ok."

"This is a great gun. It shoots accurately 100'-150'. I'm not sure about the FPS but we all know that doesn't really matter. It's also Tokyo Marui compatible (so I hear) so it can be upgraded easily. Mine needs a new cylinder. The piece in the end of the bolt loosens, so the bolt handle gets loose and I can't pull it back.This should be an easy fix. I also had a couple weird things happen when I first got it, like the magazine feeding half the BBs in, causing a jam. This only happened once so I think it just needed to be broken in a little bit. For the record I was using TSD Tactical .25g BBs, and my scope is a UTG Leapers 4x32 (awesome, I recommend it) Pros: Great price Accurate Simple to break down and upgrade Great for beginner Not too powerful Cons: Stiff hop-up adjustment Comes with only 1 mag No open sites Not too powerful ;) EDIT: I used plumber's tape around the screw and it hasn't budged! "This is an excellent cheap sniper. It might not be as sophisticated or high powered as some but it is still a great gun. It has a nice, easily adjustable hop-up It will take a beating Has a nice heavy solid feel even though the stock it plastic. (I prefer the wood stock) However, The rail is slightly too narrow for the standard-size scope mounts so I had to put pieces of electrical tape under them so that they would fit solidly the bolt loosens easily. It is not a big problem as it does not affect shooting but it is just not very nice to have to tighten it. "

"This gun is a clone of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10. The bolt action is crisp, but takes a while to get used to pulling back. It shoots about 400fps w/0.2g bb's. For better accuracy use .25s or .33s. The only thing I don't like about this gun is the springy sound it makes when it fires. For those of you who like light guns this is the choice. Airsoft Megastore often exaggerates their listings and stated that this gun is "extremely heavy" which it is not compared to other sniper rifles (UTG L96).
