445 FPS AGM Metal Bolt Action Type 96 Airsoft Sniper Rifle - OD Green

"I just recieved this gun today and it is fantastic!! its alot heavier and longer than I expected (probably because I am use to M4's). im not saying thats a bad thing and am by no means weak. it just really feels like a lay back and pick off enemies type of rifle. i love the accuracy and power of this thing, although I do plan to upgrade it. this brings me to my next point be careful this gun DOES NOT chamber normal type 96 magazines IT USES VSR-10 MAGAZINES. although I have not recieved conformation from the AMS support staff, i am led to believe that this gun is one of the the type 96 models that uses VSR-10 internals so watch out when buying upgrades. personally I count the VSR0-10 magazines as a plus because VSR-10 magazines fit into standard pistol magazine pouches, I love this because I run this sniper with a shorty M4 and I have all my magazines up on my rig. overall i would say this is a great sniper for anyone! it is strong and a great rifle for the price, also it can upgraded fairly easily for those more hardcore snipers. 5/5 all the way. "this gun is pretty good...the FPS doesnt seem like 400 but i think thats because when i first put the sling on they give you, the sling broke and the gun dropped.(it also could just be because the bbs im using i should probably use heavier ones) it bent the barrel up which i think effected the fps. it still shoots REALLY accurate at a good range though. there are no iron sights so you should definitely get a scope. and if you want a sling, DO NOT USE THE SLING THEY GIVE YOU, IT WILL SNAP AND RUIN THE GUN. overall great gun"

"This is a great sniper rifle. It is my first sniper rifle, and it is great. The accuracy is fantastic; during a windstorm it could hit a tree 50 yards away. This bolt occasionally catches, but all that is needed is a more forceful pullback. The only issue I had was because I bought a full face mesh mask along with this gun, and aiming down the scope was difficult. I removed the cheek pad, and this made it much easier. Overall a good gun."

"this gun is amazing i can sight in any scope and it will hit dead on over 100m. i love this gun. it is heavy but you get used to it. the bolt is easy to pull. and it is made up of only abs plastic( amazingly strong), and metal. love this gun i deffinetly reccomend it"

"jus ordred it cant wait to get it i am gettin a nc star varible zoom with it question please respnd soon can u mount a bipod on it ok just got the gun. it is amazing for 75 bucks. shipping was fast and i live in michigan and it ships from cali. it took 6 days. it is heavy wich is a pro to me cause it feels sturdy. to the person below me about the suppreser u csn put one on. get some pipe insulation that is foam and put it around ur barrel it make it sound deeper. and about the mag i have had it for one day and have dropped it twice and works fine. i have purchased many things from the megastore and is pleased. the last thing is a scope. i got the nc star 3-9x40varible zoom and it is great. we are now goin to purchase them for our hunting rifles. if you have and questions on the gun write a review and i will get back to u."

"This is a very good gun. Shoots pretty hard and fast, its accuracy is pretty good. For the price it's a great gun. I would recommend a scope. As for the weight if it bothers you, you are able to take apart the stock and remove the 4 weights in the stock as i have done with mine. There are 2 large ones in the back and one medium one small one in the front. The magazine can be tricky but you can figure it out pretty fast. After cocking it alot the pin that is behind the bolt in the barrel starts to turn and get loose. It can easly be twisted back in with your thumb. Overall great gun for the price! I would recommend 25gram or higher bbs in this gun as it will not be accurate with anything less (using wallmart or sport store BB's will decrease your accurateness greatly because they are not perfectly round, I would recommend goldenball or TSD precision BB's)"

" I got this for christmas in 2011 for my first "non walmart' airsoft gun. it got here fast for shipping across the country along with my brothers rifle(under a week). it shoots very accurately with .23 gram bb's, and hits pretty hard. i recommend using the AIM sports 4x32 compact scope which stays zeroed in and has a perfect magnification for an airsoft rifle. The plastic on this rifle is very strong and doesn't crack or break when shot or dropped. I've only used it in backyard games because I haven't found an airsoft place that allows 14 year olds. so I'm very exited to use it in an actual game. overall great gun, 5 stars. shoots fast and hard."

"I received this gun yesterday and I have to say it is a great buy. Just about any sling will work if the clips fit the gun. The clips on the sling that comes with it suck though, they would snap if say you jump down with it over your shoulder. Scopes and slings are attachable as well as a bi-pod (in which I do not have one). The accuracy is exceptionally good, but always remember to remember about wind when trying to judge accuracy. Some shots may stray but this is a gun that can compete against pricier spring guns, Its weight is perfect, not real light but not heavy. CAUTION: Do not load over 15 bb's into the magazine. Though it says 20, anything over 15 when you pull the bolt back, the magazine will buzz, meaning it just emptied about 6-10 bbs into your barrel. Thank god for the unjamming rod. The magazine can be annoying to get it to click in but all in all this is an excellent gun. I recommend getting an adjustable magnifying scope for this gun."

"This is a experienced boy age 12. I am a very short kid for my age (5ft) Now I only bought the L96 without the scope and bipod. Now if you are my size it is hard as hell to look thru a crosshair scope good unless you move your body placement. I suggest to buy a red dot scope because: Easier to assemble, Very accurate, Easy to quick scope, and you dont have to line up as much Now, I had I pretty hard time assembling the barrel and the body. Take your time though. Just don't get frustrated. Now when assembling this gun on the end of the barrel you might think there is a piece that shouldnt be there. But it should. Just put the back of the barrel in first but do not force it in. Just take your time. Gun is 110% worth its price. GREAT GUN!"

"I have this gun and first of all i must say for the price it is very good it can hit pretty well and accurately up to like 120 feet, Some problems are that there is some serious curves and inconsisicy to its shots, it doesnt have that much power(not a big problem), and the fact that this gun is a LOAD Now down to what ppl actually read: Pros accurate (to an extent) good speed easy bolt pull easy to maintain weight (for realism) Cons: Not that accurate relitively low range no iron sights (get scope and bipod package weight (for game situations) big Bad upgradeing platform All in all its a good buy, but if you want to bring this ino serious wars, not a good idea, Go with a JG bar-10 and get some decnt upgrades for it, and it will be MUCH better than this gun Hoper i helped"

"This Gun is Awesome. The only problem I had with it was that I Knocked it on a wood peice in a fort and the bolt handle fell off. It was easy to fix just temporarily put tape on it then order a new part from AGM."

"I got this gun a while ago as my first sniper rifle. This gun definitely shoots hard. I try to trace the BB with my eyes to adjust the hop up, but I couldn't; it moved too fast. It will destroy any target in its way. To help sight in the scope, I had my friend stand about one hundred and fifty feet out and tell me where the BB was going (I was putting the crosshairs on back.). Once I got it sighted in I was hitting him between the shoulder blades every time. I used it in a war with some other friends and they couldn't get away with poking their heads out cause they would get shot in the face. Overall a great gun unless your competing with high end aeg's."

"I was very happy that I bought this gun, although I did not buy it from this website, which was rather foolish. The only problem I've seen with the gun is that when you load .12g BBs into the magazine, it tends to load all of them at once. Another problem I've had with the gun is the screw holding the bolt lever on. It doesn't fit snugly into the receiving end of the bolt, so it tend to stay loose, and if you don't pull your bolt back properly you can pull apart the entire bolt mechanism."

"This gun is an Optimum airsoft sniper. Reccomended bb size is .25 (not too heavy, not too light). .12g bbs can be used but after 100yards they want to curve off, and the clip DOESNT appreciate CHEAP bbs. This gun HAS power, lets just say shooting someone execution style(ive tried, it was in the back though) with this Leaves some blood running. A scope would probablly be reccomended because it doesnt have an iron sight Unless you use the Top Rail. It is heavy, around 8 - 9 pounds. Not a gun to get up close and personal with. 4 staz"

"Not much to say about this sniper but that it is just an ordeal sniper rifle, it is quiet anough to keep you from allerting your apponents, easy to pull cocking mechanism, very strong and can take a beating, very camofauged for woodland or foresty environments, it is very easy to adjust it to fit your body. Pros: cheap, camo, easy to find accessories, large mag capacity, almost impossible to break cons: heavy, does not come with a scope or bipod, unreal mag, plastic mag, rare mag, almost all plastic, magwell has a tendancy to jam up, over time it will become weaker and less accurate, magwell is too far infront of the gun so it is hard to reload and is not like the real thing, chinsy mag"

"I dont actually own it but a really good friend owns it. The guns body is made from some sort of plastic, its not abs but it seems durable, the gun is accurate at 150 feet and the the bb curves to either the right or left I cant remember. Pros: Cheap Average accuracy looks really cool fps (you know when you hit someone and they cant pull it off like they didnt get it cause it leaves a mark and you see the reaction when they get hit) cons: Not sure how it will hold in the long run not as accurate as longer aegs or higher quality snipers The mags are realllly cheap and break easy"

"what sling will work on this gun"

"out of the box this is a good starter sniper rifle good FPS for most field. the only problem was in the mag well the part the connects the the forwarded burial with the stock the metal part there was cut wrong. so i was unable to insert the mag into the rifle. but after cutting the metal down 4mm the problems was fixed. and it would also be worth buying an metal spring guide and a metal piston. the ones that come with it are an plastic and will ware out before you know it. and i also believe you cant buy any stock tight bore burial for it. have to get one custom made for it. and if you want to have more then one mag for it. you have to buy AGM ver T96 mags. no other T96 mags will fit the AMG Ver. "

"this gun was o.k. it worked for a while but it wasnt very accurate, and the power was hardly even there. eventually i let my friend use it (bad idea, he brakes everything i own) and i got the clip unloads every bb into the chamber at once virus. this is a common problem in this gun, and i figured i was safe from it for a while, i knew how to load the clip in safely; but obviously my friend didnt. im problably going to buy a snowwolf sniper as a replacement because i just cant handle this gun letting me down anymore. could of spent my money more wisely, recommend for beginners"
