"this ak74 is by far the best gun i have seeen below 100 bucks, it shoots hard and with a little adjustment on the hop up it shoots acuretly. i bought this gun with two 1,000 round clips havn't run out of ammo in a match yet. the pros of this gun is that the hop up is easily accesable, the barrel and most of the internals are full metal, and whatever parts are plasctic, are not flimsy. the cons of this gun is that it burns through ammo quickly becaus of the guns high rate of fire so Buy a BIG clip. the only other bad thig about this gun is that it ocasinaly jjams and the stock is sort of wobbly. this is still the best gun i have ever played with. it has high fps and rof so all and all, if you do not buy this gun, you are missing out on a serious butt wuppun time."

"This gun is nuts! high FPS, incredible acuracy and it can slice a tin can in two in three seconds and . I also bought the smart charger and an extra batterie and they work great. I've had no problems the only people that have problems with this weapon are my oponents. "

"First off I swear this gun was a real AK-47 if it wasn't for the orange tip at the end of the barrel. The gun's heaviness would be like I would think a real AK-47 would be but with that being said it can be really heavy for younger airsoft players. This gun is also really powerful, the 400+ FPS proves to be true when I was shooting through two pieces of think cardboard at 50 feet. I use three different clips for this gun and all work great with it . Pros: -Accurate -Great FPS for under $150 -Realistic -Great range Cons: -Battery - The battery that came with it was terrible it lasted about 2 minutes then died right after charging. It was a good thing I bought an extra battery with my order. The gun works great with the extra battery I bought. -Bit on the heavy side but that's not to much of a problem for me. This is a great gun all around so far I have no problems with it."

"Well i got this gun about a year ago and it is amazing shoots fast and hard no reason NOT to buy this gun. I got a 9.4v/1600maH battery and it inceased the fps by atleast 15 and rof greatly, and also last alot longer PROS: accurate nice rof fps is good CONS: battery does not last too long "

"This DBoys AK-74M Full Metal is a bruiser in every way. Straight out of the box it base lined at 400 FPS and was rock solid. I used it all day and also let a couple of buddies take a run with it. It made believers. Down side, you will be tired and your neck/shoulder will end up sore from hauling this hefty pig all day. But you'll still have a hell of a good time."

"Got the AK-74S version which is this but the stock looks different. Very high fps. Everybody i play with says it is the most powerful aeg there even though some ppls guns cost more. "excellent gun. i bought it from the boneyard only needed to replace the piston (bb's were jammed in the hop up). this thing shoots hard. has a removable cleaning rod and 'gas tube' front grips come off like the real steel. minor differences between it and the real deal. front sight is pinned on as is the real steel. reciver upper and lower are metal only plastic is gas tube cover,lower front grip, mag, pistol grip and the rear stock. i cant wait to get it in fixed stock with real wood. the rivets look correct as well. only downside is the serial numbers are exactly the same. would like to have seen the front trunion blank so aftermarket numbers could be placed on. that being said how often are you going to have two of the same guns next to each other ??"

"This gun was amazing out of the box, in the cold. (20- degrees) It shot amazingly, I need to adjust the hop up. To shot it's power, I shot at a shed, the BB bounced several times off the fence *bounce* hit a house *bounce* lands at my feet in pieces. PROS POWER Weight Ammo cap. Full metal, except stock and grip and handguard. However, the plastic is VERY durable. CONS Short of saying it isn't real I can't complain about a thing. Maybe the plastic bushings, but they are amazing because they are 7mm."

"Ordered saturday night, recieved the following thursday. On sale for 129.99 + a few extras for free shipping. I shot my brother on the arm from roughly 30-40 feet away and it left a welt that looked like it was giong to bleed on his arm. I was pretty suprised how long and heavy it is. It comes with a 1100 mah battery and a 450 ma charger. If I I did my math correctly it means the battery charges in 2 hours and 26 minutes and 41 seconds to be exact lol. Great service. Great Gun. PS: We bought the Dboys 1000 round clip and a full charge we used up the 1000 round clip, the clip that comes with the gun, and fille dup the 1000 round clip again and used up most of the bb's except for maybe 70-100. It's awesome"

"UPDATE: still love the gun, but has problems now. gearbox got completely jammed with dust and dirt after few months of disuse, had to take apart the entire frickin gearbox to fix it. FML, anybody else hate doin that? Still a great gun, most AEGs look like just variations on the same design, but AKs are just bosses, in a class of their own. I mean, they should have two sections in the store: AEGs and AKs haha. but seriously, this is the only good thing to ever come out of Russia! looks incredible, shoots hard and accurate (about the only gun that ive felt hurt worse was when i shot myself in the hand from about 1inch away) Overall, great gun. everyone else has listed pros and cons, so just go with theirs; i won't list my own. It does have a few problems, but not many- the instructions dont make very much sense, common for asian-made guns. Also, the front sight adjuster is not included. Obvious;y, dont use cheap bbs in strong guns. they work, but risky and poor results"

"Honestly, this rifle is insanely good for the price. It features tons of power, shoots really far, and can hit its mark from a long distance, even though I play mostly CQB (the stock is really a plus here). I've been notorious in my airsoft league because when I switch off to this rifle (from my older SRC M4, which is a LOT weaker), people tend to run for the hills because it totally DESTROYS the competition. "This gun is really great. It has an awesome rate of fire, but the fps is really not 430. I had it chronographed and it read as 340. But still, it is pretty accurate. It is full metal, except for the magazine(which is kind of cheap) and the hand guards. The sight is kind of wobbly."

"This AK-74m is absolutely Incredible. The Good.... The Detail on this gun is extremely realistic. It even Disassembles like the real steel AK's. It has a serial No. on the left side of the receiver. As with the other reviews all the parts that should be metal on the real steel are metal on this gun. This guns weight,feel, and Clank of the mock bolt as it hits the receiver lets you know that this is a Kalashnikov. It even has small Ishvek logos on the mag and stock. Mime shoots 800 RPM at about 380 FPS. And the sling is well made. The Bad.... Could not find one con for the gun, but the mag is crap and the battery charger was broken out of the box which is why i only give it 4 stars."

"I got this gun about two weeks ago it looks and feels great. It shoots hard but curves a little to the left. I used this gun at a skirmish on the weekend and the stock magazine the wind up is very week and the gun wouldn' fire a BB. I also purchased the DBoys 1000 round hi cap mag and it's poor quality it to had alot of misfires at first I thought it was the gun, but I borrowed someones JG AK47 hi-cap mag and the gun worked great, it fit a little tight but not one misfire with the JG mag. So the day wasn't a loss. I like the gun but the magazines are cheep quality."

"i got this gun a few months ago and it works great. the mag that came with it broke the first time i used it so i bought a full metal one from here and it still works great. the battery that comes with it is absolutely terrible. i ordered a new battery from here and it came shipped in an envelope and was cracked in half. the gun is not loud but its not quiet either. with the hopup adjusted it shot great until the gear box broke...it sounds like the same thing happened to the guy from niagra falls. if you plan on buying this gun then you should have a lot of money to put into it."

"When i got this gun it looked great and shoot great but after i looked at it further i found problems, the flash hiders threads were messed up, it says 400fps i chronod it was 360-370fps still good, it said reinforced bushings but it came with plastic ones, the stock was wobley. "tested this gun out and i absolutely love it. it shoots very far and very hard for a low cost. my sister was riding her bike and i took 4 semi auto shots at her and hit her 2 times. after the hop up is adjusted it is dead accurate. I tested the gun on cardboard and a can. the bbs went straight through the ends of the can (the thickest part) and for cardboard...well it went through 4 layers! ***edit*** after about 5k shots it was still firing great. now the gun has stopped working. i have checked the battery and the fuse and i cannot find a problem. down to 3 stars =/."

"Well, I got this gun, here is my review: Pros: 1. Good FPS 2. Pretty fast 3. Full Metal gear box 4. Very nice look (Looks as if it's based off a AK101) Cons: 1. Jams VERY easily 2. Broke on me after using it once and treating it like a charm. 3. Broke on me again yesterday after just getting it back the week before and using it once. 4. This gun requires EXTREME care because I've used .20 bbs that the gun is supposed to use and they broke and jammed inside of the gun. 5. The un-jammer barely helps and I'm still having trouble getting some broken BBs out. So I'm pretty much going to see if I can refund this gun or exchange it for one of a equal price. I wouldn't recommend this gun after my experience, but who knows, yours could be different. If your going to get this, Good Luck."
