"The main reason I bought this gun, is because I was always stuck if my primary's battery died, and also because this gun sells so quickly, I just had to grab one while it was in stock. The M226 has a joyous blowback action, with a great cyclic rate with the heavy-duty polymer slide. The magazine is milled from solid metal, and is very durable; a friend of mine bumped the mag release button and it fell out onto the concrete, and all it suffered was a dented baseplate. The combat sights are a nice addition to an already nice gun; although they can be difficult to adjust. I would suggest a hard holster for this gun, both to protect your $160+ investment, and to prevent yourself from hitting the mag release, as is prone to happen with soft holsters. The rail is nice, but not crucial to the gun; it makes way for the addition of a laser/light. The main controversial piece of this gun would be the lack of a safety lever/slide. Some people I've talked to think a safety is needed, but I think it's just one less thing to worry about in the field, no worries, as long as you're practicing good trigger discipline, you're good to go. As with all GBB pistols, you need to know how to maintain your gun; don't just let it "run its own course," keep it lubricated and clean, and you shouldn't have problems. The double-action trigger is nice, but I don't usually use it, as the blowback locks the hammer back consistently. When you have shot a mag of ammo, the slide *should* lock back, but this won't happen if you've just gassed it up and the pressure is still really high. The accuracy is a toss-up, if you're looking for 15-30 ft engagements, it's great and can hit quarter, but much further, and it start going wayward. Nice hopup design, hard to figure out at first, but you get used to it. And KWA even throws in a fully-functional decocking slide, which is very thoughtful and realistic of them. The one major issue I have with KWA making this gun is their lack of aftermarket parts and upgrades. A threaded outer barrel for this gun would be nice sometimes, especially to use with my Gemtech tracer. I highly recommend this gun for anyone looking for a reliable sidearm, or a primary for "backyard battle," and CQB. Like KWA states, this is a gun designed for .25g BBs, and it throws them nice and hard, with mine chronoing in at +-300 fps (in January, when the gas can't expand well) using .25g BBs. Overall satisfied with my purchase.
Nice kickback, consistent
Good-enough gas consumtion; 1-1&1/2 mags for a fill of GG
Hard, quality polymer slide makes for fast cycles
High FPS (the KWA norm)
Wonderful craftmanship; no burrs or unfinished edges
Decocking lever works without problems
Simple design, easy to clean and keep in working condition
The mag release button is almost too easy to use; one touch and the mag falls out, wether you meant it to or not
Sights are hard to adjust at first, same with hopup"
