This AEG has all Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) external components, including an MOE fully adjustable stock, an MOE rifle grip, an MOE Carbine length hand guard, and even a 120 round Magpul PTS PMAG.
These Magpul external components make for an extremely ergonomic and comfortable AEG. The stock has rubber padding to provide a nonslip surface when shouldering the rifle, as well as providing comfort. The MOE hand guard is equally as comfortable and is also fully customizable with holes specifically placed on the hand guard for attaching 20mm Weaver rails (rails not included). The pistol grip has to be one of the most comfortable grips ever made for an M4 platform. The contours of the grip provide significant operator fatigue relief, meaning its is easy and comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The Magpul PTS MOE Carbine also features full Magpul trademarks throughout the rifle, which are printed onto the surface of the body and stamped onto all of the Magpul components. This rifle is as comfortable to shoot as it is deadly accurate.
We test fired this AEG from 100 feet and 150 feet, with outstanding results. At 100 feet we were making 5 inch groupings, and at 150 feet we were making 8in. groupings! This is a testament to the superior craftsmanship Classic Army puts into all of their AEG's. The internals, by Classic Army, are solid and built to perform. Even with an 8.4v battery, the Magpul PTS MOE Carbine had a great rate of fire. The gearbox is reinforced and full metal with a precision cut gear set. It also includes a High Torque, high speed motor. Also included is an all metal one piece inner barrel which is extremely accurate, and the one piece hop-up works extremely well making it easy to zero in on your target.
The body of this AEG is made of high quality ABS plastic, making the AEG very lightweight and maneuverable. The carry handle is removable, and is also made of ABS plastic. Once the carry handle is removed, it exposes a long top rail perfect for mounting optics as well as accessories. The outer barrel, buffer tube, front sight, dust cover, charging handle, and bolt catch are all made of metal. The Magpul PTS MOE Carbine by Classic Army is very comfortable and well balanced. It fires at approximately 320 FPS which is perfect for most CQB fields. This AEG accepts most aftermarket upgrade parts.
