UNIQUE, INNOVATIVE AND RUGGED DESIGN
The Magpul PTS MASADA AKM is manufactured from the very best materials, including a CNC machined aluminum alloy receiver and a Dupont-reinforced anti-shock polymer lower receiver, stock, and hand guard. The precision machined upper receiver adds to the overall solid and hefty feel of this Magpul CQB AEG, and features a long 15" top rail for mounting a wide variety of optics and accessories. The full metal aluminum upper receiver also features fully licensed Magpul PTS trademarks prominently and accurately displayed throughout, adding to the authenticity of this AEG. Having a lightweight an maneuverable carbine is essential for CQB environments, and the Magpul Masada AKM perfectly fits that bill. The new Magpul Masada AKM AEG only weighs 6lbs, yet still feels very solidly constructed with absolutely no loose or creaking parts! An extremely realistic rear stock, which resembles Magpul's famous CTR rear stock, is designed to be easily gripped/grabbed for quick weapon deployment, perfect for high speed CQB engagements. The side folding stock also features seven retractable positions, as well as an adjustable cheek riser to help you stay on target. Magpul PTS conveniently placed a front sight into the upper receiver; and with a spring-loaded activation, the front sight can literally be deployed in milliseconds. A second integrated MBUS rear sight is also included in the package, and much like the front sight, features instantaneous deployment.
Realism is key to the Magpul PTS MASADA ACR's build, and nothing is more realistic than the built-in functionality of the key components of the rifle. The charging handle release, magazine release, and fire-selector switch are not only all functional, but more importantly, are ambidextrous for ergonomic efficiency. The mock charging handle locks to the rear exposing the hop-up unit, and slams home when the mock bolt release (conveniently located in fornt of the trigger) is pressed! A unique quick-detach [QD] sling swivel on the rear stock can be adjusted to accommodate both left-handed and right-handed shooting, as it moves from left to right with ease. TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED INTERNALS
The Magpul PTS Masada AKM features a full metal Version 3 gearbox, with many unique enhancements, only found on Magpul PTS AEGs! The Masada AKM has premium performance internals, including a high speed motor and gears, as well as a tightbore inner barrel! The technologically advanced design of the gearbox extends all the way to the trigger action. An all-new electronic trigger contact switch replaces the more dated design found on almost all current AEGs, allowing for improved efficiency and trigger reliability, especially in mission-critical scenarios. One of the other unique features about the Magpul PTS Masada ACR is its modular build functionality. Not only can it be field-stripped or disassembled in just a few short minutes, the barrel is also extremely easy to remove, perfect for doing on-the-go barrel swaps to accommodate whatever tactical scenario you may find yourself in, both indoors and out. Even the gearbox features a quick change spring function, allowing you to swap springs in a few minutes and effectively increase or decrease your FPS/muzzle velocity to fit your needs.
NOTE: The NEW Magpul PTS Masada AKM uses proprietary Magpul PTS Beta AK Magazines. Other AK AEG magazines will NOT work with this AEG.
