"I got this gun about 3 weeks ago now, and I've just had the opportunity to use it in the field.
PROS/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: It has a very sturdy and solid build. No shaky parts. The slide is easy to pull back and release, and all of the parts move nicely and fluidly (as they should). The iron sights are also clean and easy to use. For shooting, the gun delivers a strong blowback punch; seemingly more powerful than your average GBB pistol. The BBs travel very straight and very far for a sidearm as well. I was hitting people at distances of 75ft+ with no problem at all. The magazine that is included with the gun is a double stack (this means that the BBs "zig-zag" their way up inside of the mag to maximize capacity). The website states that the mag can hold 29 BBs, however, in reality it holds closer to 20 or 21 when full. One CO2 cartridge can last about 3-4 full magazines, which is less than standard GBB pistols, but the extra BB capacity makes up for it. The FPS seems to be higher than the 350 that the website states. I would say it's actually closer to 400 when using a CO2 mag. There is also a cap on the bottom of the magazine that covers the seal for the CO2 cartridge and also assists you with unscrewing the seal to swap the gas out (the indent in the cap is made to fit perfectly onto the notch in the seal). When you are out playing, I suggest you leave the cap off and keep it somewhere in a tac vest or pouch so you don't lose it. It is a little loose-fitting and can easily be knocked off and lost. Moving on to the safety features, yes, there are two safety mechanisms. The first is your standard safety; flip it one way for on, and one way for off. The second safety is located on the rear of the comfortable hand grip, and is turned off when you squeeze your hand around the grip. Don't let the second safety deter you from buying the gun, as you hardly notice it's even there due to your natural grasp on the handle. On a final note, make sure to spray the insides down with a pure silicone lubricant after every major use (after one days worth of playing or sooner).
CONS: My friend owns a mock suppressor that he uses on his M4, and we decided to try it out on the pistol to see how it looked/functioned. We screwed it onto the threaded tip and test fired it a few times. After 3 shots, the orange tip and suppressor actually snapped off of the end of the gun and fell to the ground (most likely due to the weight of the suppressor mixed with the powerful force from the blowback). I would advise anyone buying this gun to STAY AWAY from any kind of mock suppressors. Also, very rarely, the slide will lock in the back position even if you are not out of ammo. All you have to do to fix it is push the slide release (you should then be able to fire again like normal). The main safety on the side of the gun slides up and down quite easily as well, even if you attempt to tighten the screw that holds it in place (however, the second safety should protect from any misfires). The gun DOES NOT come with an owners manual or a small pack of BBs, regardless of what the website states (just so everyone knows this).
CONCLUSION: All-in-all, this is one amazing gun that you shouldn't pass up. I am very pleased with this purchase. WellFire made a great M1911 and they should be very proud of it. As long as you heed the tips I left in the "Cons" and take good care of the pistol, it will definitely take good care of you."
