"Well I borrowed this from my friend so because he wanted me to paint this gun just like I painted all his other ones... On this one I used a nice woodland effect because it deserves camoflauge and since it's a bolt action chances are our enemy will never see you if you are wearing ghili while using this 100% mofo gun! I put 6 welts in my buddy before he saw me... I only needed to hit him 5 times to win the match but I just love the sound of pain :)"

"Hi everyone. I got this gun and it is very realistic except for thepaint job on the wood. It is NOT A GUN FOR COMBAT!!! It is fairly accurate but not great. This is a gun for collector's only!! Now on to the bad. The wood was covered in a red paint and you couldn't see the grain. So I sanded of all the wood and put a dark coat of varnish and added some hit marks to make it look old. I put some steel paint on the barel by means of a steel brush and it looks great. In conclusion it is good for collector's if you make it look a little old. No gun from WW2 is still in perfect shape. You can see the bad red paint job if you Youtube ehobbyasia k98. Hope this is a help great gun with a little redoing makes it wonderful!"

"From looking at the pictures this is very detailed. I don't have this gun but I have a real Kar98k that was made in 1944 and its in great condition, Oh yeah, I only have 1 bullet for my real Kar98k out of the few I found does anyone know where i could find some cheap?"

"*Remember!* Consider the fact that after every shot a shell pops out. If your in a combat situation remember to pick up the shells or you might leave them behind and next thing you know you'll be back here paying another 20 dollars (something like that) for another 5 shells. I havn't bought this rifle, but it makes sense that something like that could happen. Thus I recommend getting the extra 5 shells while ordering the gun. Plus you won't have to stuff another bb into a shell ever 5 shots."

"This rifle is a completely realistic Kar98 replica. The wood is of good quality, finish is excellent. Bolt action works great as well, I bought mine with 2 sets of extra shells. I recommend getting shells since it increases the amount of BBs you're able to shoot at a time."

"This gun is pretty good actually. it gets about 100 feet with a rather large spread unfortunately. but about 3 out of the 5 shots, there is very good accuracy. pin point, but it will tend to go left a bit. and when the spread is bad, the left pull is supersized. very sturdy. very fun. although if you want even more of the shots to be highly accurate, you must use the super "awsome" bbs that comes with it. i say it like that because you probably wont use them, but for this i do recommend getting them. and if someone tells you, you're crazy to go out into battle with this, they are most likely a pussy."

"This IS REAL WOOD, all new wood looks like this if it is treated properly I purchased the STG44 with real wood, looked like that at first but over time and use it will have the look of the WWII Rifle you are looking for, It is a great deal! By the way, the stock FPS is a little low 330 is not too much for a rifle as this, so I do recommend that you guys thinking about ordering this rifle also purcahse a higher fps spring (500 is good modorate range sniper) and you can get those right in this store, just search "spring" and you will have a variety of options, I again recommend this gun for all of you German WWII enthusiasts out there, it is a great gun! (Also I would say sping beats Gas in this gun, because one: It is bolt action so it is not helping anything by being gas fps wise or firing rate wise, and two: it would be a waste of money paying for a more expensive gas gun as well as the gas you would go through not to mention the higher likelyhood something will go wrong in a gas gun."

"Hello this gun is a very high quality gun and one of the few shell ejecting guns on the market. It has a good fps, but I never use it and I dont reccommend using it since it is a very expensive bolt action gun and is rare. It is almost the exact weight to the real thing and I used a sander and sanded it down on some parts and weathered it up nice. It looks kind of fake at first but after weathering it it looks nice and real. The ONLY thing I don't like is that it was this expensive for a replica, i mean $165! Its not even an aeg (not like it should be but still). Pros: - cheapest price - nice fps for a replica - cool shell ejecting - comes with 5 shells - nice quality wood - solid/strong metal - nice bolt feel - nice sights - Cons: - expensive for a replica - only has 5 bullets - can't find more bullets Nice gun but has its raw backs Buy the Fake wood version and save yourself the money unless you really want the real wood. "the gun looks and feels nice but i cant find a decent scope mount or sling for it also the gun doesn't shoot completely straight and is a pain in the ass to load the cartridges in combat. all in all the gun is a good buy if Ur collecting ww2 guns but not recommended for war"

"Pretty solid construction, some things are a little loose but better quality than some replica weapons...and cheaper. Weight is very close to actual probably, I have a real Gew 98 and they're similar. Rear sight adjusts and safety works just like the real thing. Shell system is neat, but will jam about 50% of the time...requires pulling the rounds out and lining them up properly. Don't force try to force the shells, I damaged one badly that way. Keeping it lightly oiled seems to help. If your more interested in a nice looking replica than shooting a zillion bbs, this is pretty awesome. It's still fun to shoot, just a little more work than I was hoping it would be. I was very pleased with the service here also."

"personally i like the k98 rifle. but for airsoft its not a vey good weapon. i dont have the weapon but i wouldent get it. for the same price you could get a high quality gas or electric gun. try the m16a1 spring rifle. also on airsoft megastore."

"The gun came damaged and scratched up due to poor shipping. However, I did get to play with the gun before I mailed it back. The real wood is real, however it's cheap real wood that you can easily crack or scratch. Its probably a good idea to repaint the wood with a protective coat once you get it. I've heard a lot of different stories about the shells getting jammed in the gun if you don't cock it back fast enough. Well, let me assure you, its best to cock the gun slowly. I tried to cock it back fast and it got jammed. What a pain. Once I leaned how to properly cock the gun, it was very easy to shoot. There is a lot of power in this gun. The gun has a nice feel to it (weight) and the metal parts seem very strong. She shells eject like the real Kar98 but make sure your ejecting the shells on a soft surface. Anything hard like concrete will scratch or dent your shells. Its a good idea to buy the extra shells with this gun. "

"I just ordered this gun today. I have done some research on it and have this information: It is pretty low in FPS for a sniper, but i still like it for the reason of what it is. But i do wish it was better. The shell are aluminum and should be lightly oiled with silicone before putting in magazine of gun. it does not come with a sling, all the wood part is real wood, and all black parts are metal, and REINFORCED internals, that doesn't mean full metal so when i get it i will inform you if they are and how the accuracy/spread/wind pull is on the gun. ~Doc "

"If you are a collector, then this is definitely for you. If you can get by the reddish paint, it is beautiful and hefty. Accuracy stinks, even with adjusting the hop-up. Rear sight is adjustable, the front is fixed but the small piece of metal covering it comes off easily. After shooting the gun about 50 times I noticed a LOT of small metal shavings where the metal was wearing. Also as I closed the bolt it wouldn't catch and cock like it should. The shells are fairly durable but if you push the BB too far into the tip it will get stuck and not shoot, if you don't push the BB far enough in it will fall out in the magazine."

"The gun pieces are not very secure great fps and accuracy just bad security it falls apart and jams easy because of the shells but if you buy the gun make sure! to buy some cylicone lube from LOWES or HOME DEPOT but its a good gun just faulty security on the pieces."
