"First, before I go any further, I have to correct something 'Sam' said in his review. While I agree with him that the battery is somewhat difficult to get in, I have no idea whatsoever where he got the idea that the magazines are unique. It has taken any standard MP5 magazine I have thrown at it. That error was so egregious that I ended up writing this whole review just to correct it. No that that is out of the way, on to the gun.
This is a great little gun for CQB, or possibly a backup for your primary; small and light. Has a good ROF on the stock batter, upgrade to a lipo, and you have a screaming banshee of plastic death. Range is, by design, somewhat limited, and accuracy suffers somewhat from the short inner barrel and lack of stock (again by the very design of the gun it is copying), but it is far from the worst I have seen. While it did better than expected, I would not recommend it for outdoor field play.
Build quality is rock solid. Aside from the lack of weight, you wouldn't really guess you are wielding a plastic gun. I've put the gun through it's paces and have no complaints as far as the internals are concerned. I haven't cracked the gearbox open yet, so I can't say any further than that.
Bottom Line: Solid build, better than expected performance, WILL take standard MP5 mags.
Recommended Uses: CQB or an emergency backup to you primary."
