Our take:  Combining pin-point accuracy and quality performance, the NEW fully licensed Steyr Mannlicher M9A1 Pistol by ASG is tailored for law enforcement training as well as target shooting applications.  This CO2 pistol fires up to an impressive 495 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs) and is great for airsoft target shooting enthusiasts and professionals alike.

The Steyr M9A1, which is an exact replica of the Austrian pistol made famous in several blockbuster movies in recent years, features a high quality polymer frame and slide making it lightweight and easy to aim.  This CO2 sidearm mirrors the more modern version of the pistol and sports an ergonomic pistol grip.  The pistol itself is extremely comfortable, and firing it is even easier.  Unlike the more common M9 and M1911 style pistols that have saturated the airsoft market, the unique aesthetics of this pistol make it truly stand out in the crowd.  Thanks to an fiber optic rear sight, which will brighten in low-light conditions, target acquisition is made even easier in conjunction with the three dot combat sights.  This makes the Steyr M9A1 CO2 pistol perfect for professional training and competitive target shooting scenarios.

While the external build and features add to the pistol's authenticity, this pistol also performs at a professional level and is geared for all airsoft enthusiasts, including users who want to pursue competitive shooting.  This semi-automatic CO2 pistol fires with pin-point accuracy backed by its high FPS specs and impressive ergonomic build.  For more advanced use, this Steyr licensed pistol comes integrated with a universal Picatinny rail, perfect for attaching tactical laser sights and flashlights.

    M9-A1 is A OK
    By: JRock

"I purchased this because of several reasons. I didn't want an M9/92FS or a 1911. And I don't really like Gas Blowbacks either. So I settle for this. Non-Blowback. I'm not sure if it says this anywhere but please read "The Slide Does Not Move". Pros: Great Feel, sturdy Great Iron-sights Nice sound Accurate Lots of shots from the Co2 cartridge Cons: Awkward Magazine. The Co2 canister goes into the grip rather than the magazine. So the magazine is kind of small and awkward. Also, with mine, the spring inside the magazine got stuck at the bottom and had to be released. Only happened once and didn't again. Slide doesn't move. Summary: All in all, it is a good sidearm. Reliable, dependable, and rugged. If you want something that isn't a 1911 or M9, pick this."
