if you are looking for a gun with a high cap you may steer away from any ww2 guns but this is great gun i like aks for their great mag capacities too though

James...selector breaking |

James...I had the same issue until I realised that the vibration incurred by firing the gun had shed a bolt/ nut (one of the 3 you'll see that hold the fore grip and handle to the reciever)...this had led to waay too much slop in the fire selector gear...which wldn't function at all..a simple journet to Ace Hardware for a replacement fastener...and some Locktite for all of the fittings solved the issue. I frigging LOVE my mp40...btw...It's not imitation wood U see...It's a bakelite finish on the ' schmeisser' endorsed MP40...and looks freaking fantastic...same gun...diff distributors.

I will have to say that the MP40 is one of the most effective compact machine guns, and this airsoft rifle fits the bill exactly. The folding stock is comfortable and easy to use. It has a mean amout of power that matches a good accuracy(i can hit disks from over 70 ft away), it just goes on with the mp40.
recommended especially if you love WWII guns, but still an awesome rifle

Good Gun - Bad Construction |

It was an amazing gun at first... But after only about 6 days of very moderate use, it stopped firing when I pressed the trigger... The battery is fine... It's turned on... Sometimes if I spam pressing the trigger, it will start firing again (But it will go back to non-functioning if I leave it alone for a few minutes, and I have to go back to spam-pressing... which sometimes doesn't even work)
I have no idea what's wrong with it because it was running perfectly fine till yesterday... I haven't dropped it, or done anything to break it... But I doubt Airsoft Megastore will let me exchange it because it at least functioned when it came out of the box... FML
*Edit*
It seems that the selector switch on it is messed up... After only 6 days, and little use... And of course, I have no knowledge/means of fixing it...
