Airsoft shotguns are high-powered airsoft guns that boast a very good price to power ratio, shooting at up to 450 FPS at only a minimal cost.  They are pump action, just like the real thing, and operate almost identically to a real 12-gauge!  They are significantly more powerful than other spring airsoft guns because the pump-action design allows airsoft shotguns to deliver more power than their cocking-lever counterparts.  Most boast heavyweight body/metal barrel construction and are extremely powerful and accurate.  Airsoft shotguns shoot 6mm 0.20 gram or 0.25 gram bbs and generally shoot at 300-450 FPS [feet per second].
