Well, this gearbox seemed to be the answer to fixing my beloved Xm8. It did not fit into the gun. I tried modifying the new gearbox with my Xm8's old gearbox. That didn't work. So I put the gearbox back together exactly like it should have been. I tried to test it to make sure it even worked, because it wasn't working when I first opened it. It worked, sort of, but one gear flew out of the track and the gearbox KEPT RUNNING! I let go of the trigger and the thing just went crazy! This gearbox also has terrible wiring. If you plan on putting this in an Xm8, then don't get it. Just have someone else fix it for you, or get a new gun, or buy the part necessary and install it yourself.
