Our take: The Airsoft Megastore CUSTOM JG G-550 improves on an already great airsoft AEG by adding a full metal TacForce 7-intensity adjustable 1x40 red dot scope. The all-new JG G-550 Commando is one of the best and newest in JG's line-up for 2009. It is an amazing AEG that you just have to see, feel, and fire for yourself to fully experience. With an integrated bipod, the JG S550 is undoubtedly one of the most powerful, accurate, yet versatile fully automatic sniper AEG rifles on the market today.

An improvement of Tokyo Marui's S550, this AEG means serious business, whether you're using it indoors or out. It is fully capable of fighting head to head with bigger rifles in outdoor game situations. It is extremely versatile with its tactical integrated bipod -- when you need a sniper, snap the legs down for fully automatic sniper-action. When you need to get somewhere in a hurry, adjust the legs back up and you're good to go. Because it is compatible with Tokyo Marui parts and many other aftermarket upgrade parts, it can be easily customized and upgraded.

Comes with metal weaver rails up front for easy optical upgrades.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

Wellt o start things off. if this guns advertised as 430 fps then why does the box say 350 fps, and the box says 500 round magazine and hte site says 250 and it actually comes with 250? Either way this guns awesome. the rate of fire is sick, it shoots much faster then my 900 round per minute m16. this guns awesome even though it doesnt have the power i really expected.. its overall a great gun that will blow through bbs in no time

red dot is amazingly accurate once the hop up is adjusted.
the gun is muffled a bit so it is quiet compared to my friends guns.
tears through bunkers and leaves nice bruises.
it has a wonderful rate of fire and the bullets travel about 120ft before dipping down.
this gun is highly recomended if you like CQB or play in a forest.

I think this is one of the hidden gems JG makes that no one really pays that much attention to. Too bad, because it KICKS A$$

It's like my secret weapon, seriously it shoots so well, so accurately, and ROF is amazing. Get yours if you want a sleeper AEG that kicks A$$ on the field

i own this gun but it was before they put the scope on it its an awesome gun just make sure you have the hop up set good
