Our take:  The NEWEST 2011 JG FULL METAL M4 S-SYSTEM CARBINE has finally arrived at Airsoft Megastore.  Now, you can get a FULL METAL JG M4 S-SYSTEM with a full metal [RIS] rail system integrated into the full metal rifle design, SHOOTING HOT AT OVER 400-450 FPS with no compromises!  We would liken this masterpiece to a KWA M4 S-SYSTEM, but feel that the JG M4 S-SYSTEM is more advanced and thus even MORE superior in some ways to the KWA!   The best part is, JG has pre-installed a MOSFET CHIP, and for those who do not know what the MOSFET does, details are below:

For starters, it features a full metal receiver/body, full metal tightbore barrel, full metal fully reinforced, re-designed advanced M4 S-System mechbox, along with totally reworked internals for 400-450 FPS of PURE POWER surging out of a JG with a full metal body.  As always, battery and charger are included.

Along with improvements made to the gearbox, JG has also made SIGNIFICANT improvements to its ultra-high torque motor design, which is quite CLEARLY REFLECTED in the inclusion of a 9.6V battery, STOCK.  That means that the motor was re-designed to be able to shoot upwards of 900-1000 rounds per minute; the 9.6V battery that comes STOCK with the gun enables it to do so with FLUIDITY and EASE -- never have we seen a more calm and composed airsoft rifle cycling 950-1050 BBs per minute with the STOCK 9.6v battery!

Battery Charger Recommendation:  Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly).  Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

Pros:
Out of the box this thing works great! I've had it over a year and still no problems, not even a single lock-up. This gun, along with every other M4 variant, is very easy to upgrade if you're looking to make it even better, but runs perfectly fine without a single tune-up. The pictures and description don't say anything about it, but mine came with trades. Might be a different year's model or something. Don't be surprised if yours is trademarked, though.

Cons:
The charging handle on mine doesn't lock in like it's supposed to (factory defect with the spring, I believe). Also, my rear sight snapped off, but this can be counter-acted with a nice scope, especially when you consider how much rail space you have. The very worst part about this gun, however, is the battery storage. It's a real pain in the a** to get in there, even after a year's worth of practice!

I recently bought this gun and right away it looked great. I got the 9.6v nun chuck battery and a smart charger. After I fully charged the battery and headed down to my local Airsoft field, and before I could play they Chrono'd my gun and to my surprise it's was extremely low. With .20 golden ball proclisks the fastest it shot was 343fps and lows around 330fps. Since then ive returned as damaged and requested a replacement. This was last week and they said I should have a new one buy the 2nd week in April. This is very upsetting but I guess I have to wait

I got this gun about a week ago and so far I have no complaints performance wise. The rate of fire is INSANE and the fps seems really high altho I don't have anyway to test it. That being said the battery compartment is a little annoying, Iv found that the best way to have everything fit is to stuff some wires under the barrel and put the rest facing the delta ring. Also mine didn't come with a rear sight and they aren't sending me a new one.

I bought two of those baby's, since that was a nightmare:
First M4 S-System: At soon we just started to test it and maybe shoots 80 or more bb's when was getting in FIRE!, we burned our hands trying to open & stop the fire, everything was melted (battery, mosfet, cables..), we sent an email requesting an RMA they respond, but at this moment been waiting for my exchange, they still tide up with "a lot of returns”. I will write another post at soon they finally return my rifle and test the weapon (Bought by January 11, 2012 today is February 19, 2012)
Second M4 S-System: This one started okay not as the Specs said 400 to 450 fps. First chrono 410 fps okay is what the range they said, after a week chrono 404 fps, one more week 395 fps, the last chrono was yesterday 385 fps ????!!! Just amazing how is dropping fps fast, I tried to contact them across to "Ask the experts" about it, at this moment I don't receive any answer :(
At least I mention the Pros & cons in a REVIEW PART 2…

the video on this weapon is not contradicting the sites information... In the video it clearly states the chrono test is done with an 8.4 volt battery and the site states that the gun vomes with a 9.6 volt battery... This increases both the rate of fire and fps exponentially
