Do NOT listen to the reenactment guy who said that this gun cannot keep up with the m4 and other airsoft guns. Three of my friends own this gun and the rest of us own high quality m4's m16's and ak-47's. The thompson makes these other guns look like toys. It shoots a little under 350 fps and is very accurate and durable. My friend owns a 365 dollar m4 and he likes this thompson more than that. I like it so much i think i am going to buy one. Dont let some reenactment person stop you from buying a really good airsoft gun because he thinks it cant keep up cause it's a WWII replica.

Ok, this gun uses .2 bb's. This isn't the 'chicago typewriter' either. The Chicago Typewriter is the 1928 model. The M1A1 DID use drum mags. 20 round and 50 round. The Rangers who fought at Dieppe (before Normany invasion) and the PTO (Pacific Theater of Operations) used them. This is not a weapon for a modern airsofter, as it was built to specifications of the WW II impressionists and won't keep up with a m4 that has a hi cap box mag. Do your research before writing reviews on guns you know nothing about!
This gun was built strictly for WW II impressionist airsofters, and it was first tested out by us. It's has great use in a WW II game, where only WWII weapons are used.

This is a great gun, and i have the stick magazine, not the drum magazine. the u.s. army only used stick magazines because drum magazines could jam easily. But gangstars used the drum magazine and it was a very popular gun. Also, it is called the chicago type writer. Overall great gun, i got it a while ago, still amazing, high fps, rate of fire, and very accurate.
