It's one of the best deals on the market for a full size, full metal gearbox AK47 RIS, and the fact that this is the lastest enhanced model from JG (with reinforced gearbox, internals, and an upgraded ultra high-torque motor) means it is a serious power plant that doesn't make compromises. You get HIGH POWERED and ACCURATE shots out at sky-high rate of fire (over 800 rounds/minute) and you get the reliability that is synonymous with the JG brand. Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

i got the 2009 version of this gun in september. it has eonugh rail space to mount a scope, and depending on where u put the foregrip, you may be able to fit your laser on.

i found that the battery life on the 2009 version was long enough for me.

the equation for how long to charge your battery (from what it said on a sheet that Airsoft Megastore sent me) is:

hours of charging = MAH of battery / MAH of charger

this is my first time buying a nice high powered air soft gun and i'm pretty interested in buying this one, but a few questions... is the battery life good? is the fps actually 400? and is it able to mount a scope and laser?
