Our take: The JG M16A3 full size metal gearbox AEG is a fierce airsoft rifle that packs a lot of power. It comes with a full sized 300 round high capacity magazine, a full metal barrel, a full metal gearbox and adjustable hop-up to make this rifle one of the best performing and most realistic AEGs under $300. Perhaps one of the rifles that have branded the American military's powerful presence, the M16A3 is a serious airsoft electric rifle for any airsoft player. Because it is compatible with Tokyo Marui parts and many other aftermarket upgrade parts, it can be easily customized and upgraded.

Unlike the traditional M16A2, the M16A3 comes with a removable carry handle. When removed, the weaver base mount is revealed, for easy optics/scope mounting.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

Crazy Good.. and Accurate	April 27, 2010

This gun is everything i expected.. It is BA! If you want a gun that shoots long range and is extrememly accurate you need to buy this gun. I played this past week and was hitting ppl from over 200 ft using .25. This gun easily shoots over 400 fps with .25.

Pros: Fps, Very accurate, Great balance, battary goes in stock, good weight, oh.. did i mention it is accurate. Leaves marks on your predecessors, feels real... good range

Cons: the grip and main body isnt metal (this doesnt affect the performace) , it is really durable.. but i wouldnt reccomend throughing is off cliffs or at trees..
