Our take: The ALL-NEW JG 2010 R36-HMC [Hybrid Modular Carbine] is a spectacle to behold in every single way. In our opinion, it is quite possibly one of the most well-balanced, well-designed high performance airsoft AEG rifles on the planet, bar none. The JG R36 HMC is FINALLY IN STOCK at last, and AIRSOFT MEGASTORE is the FIRST in the country to have this rifle available, and if we were to make an educated guess, we'd guess that these will go FAST. Improved and enhanced from the older generation E1 MTC, the JG R36-HMC has an enhanced full metal gearbox with an upgraded spring, upgraded full metal/durable polycarbonate internals, along with a touted (and highly praised) ultra high-torque motor. Just about everything on the newest V3 R36 from JG is better than you've ever seen before on airsoft AEGs in this price range. With metallic reinforced internals, JG's revised full metal gearbox is equipped with better-machined internals, and an upgraded spring, making this R36 ready to rock and roll.

What's so different? It pretty much boils down to two marvels of engineering prowess:

1. The tactical rear stock has been modified for all-around combat performance improvement: a ClubFoot mod tactical rear crane stock, with 4-point retractable ability has been added for enhanced field versatility.

2. The body and magazine well have been modified to fit M4/M16 magazines. That means you can take your favorite 300-round hi-cap or 130-round mid-cap, load up, and go!

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

this is my first AEG and i love it. it has a high fps and the adjustable stock makes it ideal in all scenarios. the only slight problem is that the mag is a little loose and if u dont shove it in hard enough it can fall out. it winds forward so it is a bit harder but an overall amazing buy!

I've owned this gun for about 4 months now and so far its held up pretty good. It's fairly accurate and has a good fps. My only complaint is that it tends to jam quite often. Almost every time I play to be exact. I'm guessing it's because of the mag conversion kit. If you have M4/M16 mags, get this. If not, I would go with the regular G36.

Ok im a g36 lover and all but i want to buy this rifle but im not sure, can anyone tell me if it is mandatory to use M4 mags or can you still use the standard G36 mags? One more thing whats the big deal with the 300 round M4 mags when you have 47 round mags for the G36?
