Description

Our take: The all-new M14 JAE "DMR" sniper rifle package at Airsoft Megastore is an unique and bold beauty to behold. The impact-resistant polymer and metal body resembles that of an M14, but other than that, very little else stays the same. The boring, traditional M14 rear stock has been swapped out with a tactical "JAE" rear stock that features a slightly elevated cheek rest that is designed to provided comfort even during prolonged periods of aiming/sniping. The metal bolt is one of the best sounding we've ever heard on an EBR, and pulls back/clinks forward with a resounding confidence that only full metal construction can provide.

A full metal scope is included in the package to allow you to easily override the traditional M14's sighting system so you can easily mount any scope, large or small. To top off the package, a metallic adjustable/retractable bipod is included, with a weaver mount that's designed for easy mounting or dismounting from the rifle. This is one of the best examples of an M14 replica we've seen to date, as the production quality is superb for the price (you can't go wrong).

The CUSTOM package adds:

- Diamond Tactical 6-24x40 AOE Adjustable Zoom Tactical Scope with Illuminated Reticle. This is one of the finest scopes we carry and is a perfect match to the KART M14 JAE. With its extremely long zoom range (up to 24x magnification!) and solid build quality like you've come to expect from Diamond Tactical, this scope is the perfect addition to complete the ultimate "DMR" rifle. An 11-intensity illuminated reticle means that the scope can be used day in and day out. For more information on this scope, click here.
- 110mm short-length flash suppressor/silencer unit. This adds a bit of flare to the overall rifle, and improves upon the stock orange tip by doing away with the integrated front sight, which becomes obsolete since all aiming is done through the Diamond Tactical scope.

Performance wise, this M14 is pretty hot. It maxes out at a bit over 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs, which is certainly necessary for a sniper or "DMR" [Designated Marksman's Rifle]. The full metal gearbox features robust, metal internal components paired with a high performance gear set and Kart's high-torque motor to strike a perfect balance between power and accuracy. Accuracy, especially, is further enhanced by this M14's lengthened sniper barrel, which has a surprisingly tight bore being that it is a stock barrel and not an aftermarket install. You are able to hit targets up to 2x further away than most standard and shorter-length carbines due to the M14 JAE's performance components, which have been tuned for maximum power and accuracy.

A high capacity 300rd magazine comes standard. Hop-up is adjustable, with the dial located underneath the rifle, inside the mag well (you will have to remove the magazine from the gun before gaining access to this area).

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

Sorry for the question but, does the flash suppressor totality get rid of the orange tip? If so does it come with an attachable orange tip? NVM just watched a review and for those that have the same question, yes it also comes with the orange tip.

This gun is amazing. i got it a couple week ago and the first time i ever shot it it hit a tree dead on from about 150 ft.
