Out of the box this gun is very good for its price. Very nice balance to the gun, durable, overall is very good. One thing I did frown upon was the rail system. While its a great touch, these rails are plastic and do make noise if you move them around. So far however, they have served their purpose. Another thing I heard was the hopup goes insane on the bb's, and while there is no denying that, there is a easy solution to it. I tried spraying the mag well trick, and while it may have worked short term it was aggravating to do so often. The best way is to just get a good size can of silicon oil and spray your bb's. A nice even light coat will do. Once that is under control there really isn't anything holding this gun back from being truly amazing.

my friend sold me this gun and i love it! it's got a great stock and is real heavy for a realistic feel. i would recommend this gun as a good indermediate automatic or a great side arm for a pro . great buy!

It is definitely a very nice gun to play with especially if you are just starting out in airsoft or want something to add to a Sniper Loadout.
I am planning a video review of this AEG on You Tube sometime this month.
Two things to be aware of with this AEG is 1. The fuse connection may become loose during shipping. So check the wires. 2. Removing the Orange tip is going to be a Beast. It is glued on real good.
Other than that so far so good.

Galaxy's "G.5" MP5 mashup spits BB's at a fairly high ROF, hits hard, and has good accuracy out to at least 150 feet. A SOLID value for under 90 bucks!
After several rounds, my gun's electric went dead ... turned out to be a loose connection in the fuse box (below the battery plug).
RIS must be completely REMOVED to change the battery ... a downright impossible swap in the middle of a skirmish. So basically, figure in the cost of a battery upgrade, because when this one's out, so are YOU! I've put aside three of the screws; pinning the halves at 4 points is plenty.
The whole stock unit CAN be removed, if you want to go with a 'shorty' MP5 configuration. 'Threaded' collar ring is just for show, though. Instead, simply pull the adjustment lever on the stock all the way down; this will allow the buttstock to slide off the back of the tube. release the set screw, pull out the metal weight, and unscrew from base plate.
