Our take: After examining the newest 2009 production run model of JG's famed AK47 AEG with a full metal gearbox, we put it through some heavy shooting to see what it was capable of, and we were pleasantly surprised. It is perhaps one of the most durable and versatile AEGs that JG manufactures for under $150. It holds an excellent balance between power, accuracy, and reliability. We have chronograph verified this to shoot an average of 390-400 FPS with 0.20g BBs, with a full FPS range of 380 - 410 FPS. With a muzzle velocity that overpowers even Tokyo Marui AEGs and its JG V3 gearbox, this AK47 airsoft rifle is ready to rock and roll. Other features include adjustable hop up, adjustable sights, and a solid rear stock for battery storage.

With full Tokyo Marui parts compatibility and many other aftermarket upgrade parts compatibility, the JG AK47 with full metal gearbox can be easily customized and upgraded. This AEG has an insane rate of fire that you have just got to experience for yourself! Also comes with a 600-round high-capacity magazine!

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.

it is a great gun. metal body is great. i love the gun and so do all my airsoft teammates. dont listen to the people on youtube that live in like alaska or somthin because this gun does not come with accesories. i rercomend the smart charger but not the rails because there is no truespot to place them without scratching paint or grip. all in all it is a great gun and i personaly do not have any problem with it. hope this is helpfull and have fun shooting i recomend it.:)

This gun shoots great with good rate of fire. The only thing is that it isn't full metal and the clip won't feed all the bb's on anything below a half charge and thus you have to hold it up side down to fire on a half charge and lower, but other than that a great gun.
