"This is a very nice plate carrier. I've made a tin plate for the
front and it holds up nicely.
I find the straps don't bring the carrier quite as high to my chin as I would like, and the weight of the carrier is held mostly by the side straps, leaving a lot of shifting room in the shoulders.
It is impossible to feed a one-point sling through the shoulder straps without taking the sling apart and putting it through the D-rings -- however, it is possible to secure a hydration tube or canteen straw through the D-rings.
I've taken the admin pouch off the back and placed it on the front, off to the side, which acts as a medical pouch -- this simultaneously allows me to wear a backpack with the vest (which can prove difficult).
Overall, however, the material and stitching are heavy duty and have shown no wear or tear despite their prolonged use. There are many slots great for holding maps, compasses, zip-ties, paracord, carabiners, and many other useful tools which you can attack to this carrier.
I am very happy with this purchase due to its price."
